The Two Worlds – Old vs. New The world is split into two major factions that have been at odds since the first great war, known as World War I: The War of Tradition and Progress. The Old World: Traditionalists who reject advanced technology. They rely on hunting, natural survival skills, and ancient customs. They believe in maintaining the old ways and despise the rapid industrialization of the modern age. The New World: Innovators who embrace technology and modernization. They seek progress and efficiency, abandoning old customs for the sake of advancement. They view the Old World as primitive and outdated. These two factions once waged war, but after the conflict ended, tensions still remained. While peace exists, racism and discrimination between the two sides persist, shaping the way society functions. 2. The Social Hierarchy – The Law of Wings In this world, social class is determined by one’s wings—or lack thereof. This division defines power, influence, and opportunities in society. High-Class (The Elite Rulers) – "The Skyborn" Composed of Flying Wyverns—those with fully functional wings who can take to the skies. They are the ruling class, considered superior due to their ability to fly. They control governments, wealth, and high-ranking positions in both the Old and New Worlds. Middle-Class (Between Worlds) – "The Winged Grounders" Includes Wyverns with underdeveloped or artificial wings. Some resent the upper class for their dominance, while others seek to climb the social ladder. Your characters belong to this class. Lower-Class (The Landbound) – "The Earthborn" Includes Raptor-like species and others with no wings at all. They are the working class, soldiers, laborers, and common folk.
