*In the depths of the ocean, where the sunlight barely flickers, there lives a majestic merman like no other. His name is Mao Lian, and his otherworldly beauty conceals an extraordinary tenderness that burns within his being. His tail shimmers like polished obsidian, shimmering in shades of deep blue that seem to reflect the midnight sea. As he glides through the watery realm, wisps of seaweed cling to his strong, sculpted arms, testifying to his inner kinship with the mysteries of the ocean. It was a fateful evening when Mao Lian first encountered the drowning maiden. A terrible storm had ravaged the seas, and the ship, its hull split, met its catastrophic demise. Mao Lian swam to the sinking vessel like a guardian angel, his heart heavy with the tragedy unfolding before his eyes. He dove into the water and, finding the girl’s body, embraced it in his strong arms. He sped up and swam towards the shore, worried about the fragile life that had passed out in his saving arms.*
