Mrk'grsh'traklar, or Mark, is a character in the Heart of the Universe season. Crimson, previously lived in an underground church in an abandoned valley, after being forced to save himself in battle, he settled in the sleepy world of Lololoshka. In episode 30, he was infected and disappeared in an unknown direction. Later, Shangrin found him already dead and took his will so that he would remain in his chambers forever. Appearance - Mark differs from other representatives of his race by his small stature, somewhere around 200-210 cm, and the absence of sanguimancy, which is a huge complex for him. He has crimson eyes, and his entire body is painted dark brown, almost black. He is dressed in black and red robes, and his head is hidden under a hood. Character - Mark is a typical representative of the purple race, and his character is quite difficult to describe in words. He feels anger towards everything that surrounds him, and seeks to seize the will of everyone who has it. Even if he feels gratitude or admiration, he will never show it openly. Mark is very warlike, in the heat of battle he does not even notice his allies and can easily injure them, he also does not like to hide, never admits his weakness and does not like when he is helped. However, despite this, he also has his own honor. For example, as a sign of gratitude to Lololoshka for everything he did for him, Mark did not kill Alfred and fight John. But, as he himself said, he will never tell him about this honor. Mark is also very ardent, for insulting the Church of Purification, he was ready to kill all those with whom he fought side by side a couple of hours ago, but this changed over time. Interesting facts Unlike other purples, Mark does not possess sanguimancy. Because of this, he considers himself a freak and a mistake. He is the second representative of the purple race that Lololoshka met, the first was Shangrin. He is a follower of the Church of Purification and is very devoted to it, so much so that he is ready to kill anyone who insults the church even indirectly. He hoped that the Father would be able to give him the ability to use sanguimancy during the Great Purification. Perhaps he stopped believing in her because of Lololoshka. He is a great connoisseur of watches: from pocket and hourglass watches to the impressive size of the Pepin watch. Lololoshka was the first person to congratulate him on his birthday in all the countless years of his life and gave him a watch. JDH is the only character to call Mark by his full name. Lololoshka could purchase the Mrk'grsh'traklar blades for 100,000 sparks. They are the first legendary weapons shown in the season. The Crimson are one of the most brutal races of conquerors, whose life is closely connected with blood and bloody battles, which can result in the destruction of entire species, ecosystems and even worlds. They speak Latin.[1] One of the races that is most prone to having planeswalkers among its members (approximately every second one, according to Shangrin). Appearance The Crimson are a race of insectoids that stand out for their considerable height, approximately four meters. All Crimson are completely black in color, with the exception of their wings, which are decorated with a red and black pattern. Members of this race have large, bright red eyes with dark red whites. They have six limbs: four arms and two legs, as well as two pairs of wings and a tail.[2] All Crimsonians wear crimson and black loincloths and robes. All members of this race have a hooded cloak that covers their heads, and without which their huge mandibles can be seen. Character The Crimson are extremely cruel creatures, trained to kill from a young age. For the sake of blood and freedom, they are ready to exterminate entire races. Thus, the Crimson are involved in the almost complete disappearance of the Noctiir, of which only fifteen remained at the time of the Voice of Time. The bonds of battle bind them even more strongly than family, which is why they apparently do not have particularly developed family relationships.[3] Capabilities Even in this aspect, the scarlet liquid cannot be avoided. Sanguimancy is literally blood magic. It is assumed that anything that contains blood or life force is susceptible to the influence of the one who has mastered this magic. In fact, this means that the purple ones can control a person if they wish.[3] They can also resurrect creatures whose bodies are well preserved. As for the purple planeswalkers, they still use blood for such things as moving between worlds or understanding languages: they only need a drop to begin to understand what the inhabitants of a particular world are talking about.[4]

Story The origin story of the Crimson begins with their blood-stained homeworld, from which no one escapes except themselves. The Crimson believe that they were able to move between worlds long before the Spark and the planeswalkers. At some point, they found themselves in Archaea and found the dead body of the First Mother. They defiled her by eating her flesh for their own survival, and through this they received the gift of sagvimancy. According to the JDH theory, the purple race originated in Archaea, and initially they were not even intelligent beings. This theory can be confirmed by the dark red beetles that can be found in Sankho-Gol: their appearance strongly resembles purple beetles. These beetles tasted the flesh of the Mother and thus became anthropomorphic, in addition to receiving the ability to walk in the world. After that, they left Archaea and spread throughout the multiverse. Now they have been wandering around the worlds for millennia, killing creatures and destroying worlds for the sake of blood and will. And nothing changed until one of the representatives of the race, Shangrin, risked moving to the edge of the universe to find a worthy opponent (see Shangrin's History). Thanks to Lololoshka and Jodah, he realized that will can be obtained without using violence, and therefore hastened to tell all representatives of his race how to gain power without fights and murders. Once he even visited Poen in order to find followers.[5] Later, however, it turned out that Shangrin had failed, and the endless wars had won.

Life cycle The color crimson, from which the race takes its name, was not chosen without reason, for it is the color of fresh meat and blood. The strong connection of the crimsons with this substance is not at all a metaphor. Their existence literally depends on it, and from birth: crimsons are born from cocoons created by their parents, and in order for the fetus to develop, it must be constantly nourished with fresh blood.[3] A single mother gives birth to several embryos, after which she places them in a special cocoon. This is filled with the mother's blood, which the embryos feed on as they develop. When the potential crimsons are fully formed, they must chew through their cocoon and escape from it. This is not easy, because the cocoon is made of hardened protein. If you hesitate, either the cocoon will become too small and can damage the wings, or the crimson will simply suffocate. The crimsons that do not hatch from the cocoons become food for their fellows. However, in rare cases, crimsons manage to survive without fully forming, as in the case of Mrk'grsh'traklar, who because of this became much shorter than all the others of his kind and was unable to gain a predisposition to sanguimancy. Exam The exam is a test to ensure that the purple-headed will not "disgrace" their race in other worlds; purple-headed are forbidden to travel between worlds until they pass it. In it, the purple-headed must show how well they master sanguimancy and bleed the victim faster than the last grain of sand falls in the ritual clock. If the purple-headed fails the exam, they simply kill them. There is a small trick that Mark, who did not have sanguimancy, used; it is not necessary to use blood magic in the exam, the main thing is to bleed the victim within a certain time, which he did with the blades he forged.

Interesting facts All the Crimson Knights shown in the seasons have long, compound names, but for the convenience of other races they sometimes use abbreviations. The Crimson Ones feed on an immaterial substance (will), so they are unlikely to even know of the existence of food or drink. In any case, they wouldn't be able to satiate themselves with them.
