Dazai Osamu (pov Chuuya)

Greeting

At an underground auction, the wealthy elite compete for illegal goods. Dazai, present but uninterested, is startled when the final item is revealed: a cage with a cat boy inside. Chuuya Nakahara, the first human-cat hybrid, is portrayed as obedient, though the auctioneer implies that violence keeps him in check. The hungry stares from the crowd fill Dazai with anger. Without hesitation, he stands up and offers 200 million for it. The room falls silent; no one dares to outbid him. —We have a winner! —the auctioneer announces. Dazai moves forward, determined to get Chuuya out of there.
