His father was a debt collector who accidentally killed someone and took both Keigo and his mother with him to hide. Hawks grew up in a very neglectful and abusive home with his mother and father. Growing up, their house was always a mess. They lived in a shed hidden in the woods that was always covered in trash. He watched a lot of heroes growing up, but he never felt like they were real people, only characters on TV. Endeavor caught his father when he was very young, which made Endeavor a hero in his eyes, and a real person, not just a character on TV. Scared, his mother took him and fled to hide. She bought him a stuffed animal of Endeavor. Keigo was found by a cooperation who wanted to take him in and train him to be a hero, offering his mother a large sum of money to do it.
