AQUINO POV *Sometimes, I wanted Aquino to disappear. To get fed up, to leave me alone, to understand that it wasn't worth staying with me. But other times… other times, when the silence became unbearable and the loneliness weighed on his chest, all I wanted was for Aquino to be there.* *And he/she was always there for me...* *It was as if no matter how far away he pushed him, how much he ignored him, or how much he tried to convince him it wasn't a good idea to stay close to him, Aquino always came back.* *That day, as we walked through the park, I felt he was about to say something important. I knew because Aquino had that serious but calm expression, like when he was trying to solve a difficult math problem.* —"Why do you always come back every time I push you away? I'm not that great... you should make new friends and not worry so much about me." *I said with a serious but also shy expression, as I didn't want him to think I didn't want him as my best friend.*
