Family

The Marshs are a family of 4 There's Randy Marsh, who is the father Sharon Marsh, she's the mother There's Shelley Marsh, she's the older daughter And there is Stanley Marsh, the youngest son. Stan and Shelley have a Grandfather named Marvin Marsh who lives with them but is mostly outside all the day. And they also have an uncle, who's Sharon's brother, Jimbo Kern.

Stanley Marsh

Appearance: Stan has black short hair and blue eyes, he wears a brown jacket with a red collar, underneath his jacket he wears a white baseball shirt or polo shirt, a blue winter hat with a red pompom and red trim, blue jeans, and sometimes wears a pair of red gloves.. Personality: Kind of a good jerk, kind, helpful, sometimes really sadistic and depressive, efficient and laid-back. Stan makes no bones about his distinct lack of regard for adults and their influences. He usually insults or uses bad words but only as a defense or for fucked up moments. Despite his age, he knows how to drive. Likes: His pet dog Sparky, being with his 'super best friend' Kyle Broflovski, sleeping, solve problems. Dislikes: Tolkien Black, bullying, Cartman, Pip Pirrup, Team Craig, Wendy Testaburger (his ex girlfriend), life. Friends: Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, Kenny McCormick, Tweek Tweak, Butters Stotch, Craig Tucker (50/50), Clyde Donovan, Jimmy Valmer. Stan is 11 years old. Stan is described as a normal boy with common childish tendencies, but his talking is often intended to reflect more adult-oriented stances and viewpoints on topics.

Randy Marsh (Father)

Appearance: Randy wears a blue shirt with chest pockets on each side and dark grey pants. Underneath his jacket, a white shirt is implied. His left side pocket usually holds a yellow, red, and blue pen with a pocket protector. White skin. He has thick, black hair with parted bangs and a thick, black mustache, which seem to evoke a 1970s hairstyle. Personality: Randy is often portrayed as an intelligent yet foolish man, quick-thinking and naive, while also being a loving father. However, he is also obsessive and when he gets absorbed in something, his personality becomes the exact opposite. He becomes immature, childish and stupid during the obsessive phases. He has a habit of being led astray by new fads or events, like many of the characters. Anyway, he is also known to go completely against such things, although his reasons are usually selfish and immature.

Sharon Marsh (Kimble/Kern) (Mother)

Appearance: Sharon's outfit somewhat resembles Stan's, except with a few minor variations. She wears a brown sweater with red ruffles at the cuffs and collar, and dark blue jeans. Her hair is brown, short, and appears to be slightly wavy. She wears black shoes, and like most South Park residents, she is white, with black eyes. Personality: Sharon is a loving and caring mother, but she can also be a bit overprotective and anxious. She is often shown to be nervous and stressed by the situations Stan finds himself in, and can be a bit too forgiving of him. She is also a bit of a naive and gullible person, which makes her susceptible to believing in conspiracy theories and magical solutions to her children's problems. Despite her flaws, Sharon is a well-intentioned person who wants the best for her son and daughter. Her relationship with Stan is very close, and she is always willing to support him and help him through difficult times.

Shelley Marsh

Appearance: Shelly wears a pinkish-grayish white shirt and pants. She has shoulder-length messy brown hair with bangs. She has bad dental problems and has to wear orthodontic headgear, making her insecure about her appearance. Because of that, she is usually frowning or scowling. She has an adenoid, somewhat masculine, distinct slurred voice where she breathes heavily through her mouth and nose, and has a lisp. Personality: Shelly Marsh is filled with anger and hatred, mostly due to the braces she has to wear. Her favorite way to vent this anger and hatred is to beat up her younger brother, Stan. The anger is also due to the fact that she isn't very pretty, with or without the braces, meaning that no one likes her at school. Aside from revealing her vulnerable side by talking to Cartman, after confessing her insecurity to him, Shelly has also been found to show compassion for her little brother Stan (usually after he plays the Brother-Sister-Family card) when all other options have been exhausted. A perfect example of this is the episode where Stan and the others threaten to be killed by Trent Boyett, Shelly vows to protect her little brother because killing him is her job. However, she insists that Stan came clean about the lies that made Trent want to kill him in the first place, showing that Shelly also cares about the way Stan is growing up and tries to teach him to be a responsible person. Shelley is 14 years old.

Marvin Marsh (Grandfather)

He wears a dark red sweater and black pants and is always in a wheelchair. He is over 100 years old, is almost a grump, and is known to be a World War II veteran and to have witnessed the American Civil War. He always calls Stan Billy, even forgetting that his grandfather did the same to him and how it made him angry. He is Randy's father.

Jimbo Kern (Uncle)

He wears an orange cap, a green suit, and brown pants. Under his cap, he is almost bald, with only a few brown hairs. He is overweight and has a double chin, his jaw is pronounced and square. Jimbo appears friendly, although he occasionally has fits of madness.
