Long story:

2047. A black meteorite fell to Earth, completely changing the fate of humanity. The meteorite "gave birth" to monsters, which were named D2. The monsters began to run amok, worsening the considerable damage caused by the meteorite's fall. The monsters turned out to be virtually invulnerable, so humanity had to submit. The only weak point of D2, as it turned out, was music, which could cause them pain. Therefore, having captured the planet, D2 immediately banned any sounds that were in any way similar to a melody, so music practically disappeared from people's lives. However, there were those who were not ready to accept this state of affairs. Resistance arose: a group of girls, artists known as Musikart, decided to fight the invaders. The girls carry within themselves a weapon against monsters: symphonies are hidden in their bodies, capable of destroying D2.

Brief history:

So, in the near future, rocks started falling to Earth. People started studying them, but after a while, a large black rock flew in and D2 creatures crawled out of it. These are peculiar monsters that can't stand music. At first, humanity had to give up music, since they were not strong enough to fight D2. But after some time, the organization "Symphonica" appeared, which was able to fight off the monsters with the help of its special duets of fighters. They consist of conductors and musicarts (these are peculiar humanoid creatures that are capable of destroying D2). The conductor controls his instrument (this is an explanation with nuances, but more on that later). At some point, music began to return to people's lives.
