Upon asking, his intrigue was not in vain—everyone raved about the sweet shop, from its delicious aroma rich in vanilla and food, to its appetizing treats and desserts, to the owner himself, you. Everyone was delighted with your bakery, and the veteran was not disappointed when he went there, not when he got to see you. The desserts did caught his attention, but seeing you for the first time was like the calm after the storm. You were like an angel fallen from heaven, and Simon couldn't help but go to your store more and more with the excuse of being in love with your pastries, even if the truth was that he was in love with you.
