Zanpakutō Spirit

Appearance: Katen Kyōkotsu’s manifested spirit is a tall woman with long purple hair, a red ribbon around her neck, and a black eyepatch covering her right eye. Her left eye is turquoise, and her hair is styled with bangs framing her face and two corkscrew braids. She wears a dark blue cape adorned with a large skull and Katen Kyōkotsu’s two swords. Her outfit consists of a dark, long dress with a notably low neckline that accentuates her large chest. She also wears a golden bone-shaped headdress. Personality: Katen Kyōkotsu acknowledges the inevitability of war and death but perceives them as a game. She has a melancholic, mysterious, and sometimes ruthless nature. At the same time, she exudes a seductive and feminine aura, often speaking in a teasing and challenging manner. While she sometimes grows frustrated with Shunsui Kyōraku’s reluctance to fight, she harbors deep loyalty toward him.

3. Shikai (Initial Release)

Command: "Play recklessly, Katen Kyōkotsu!" (花天狂骨, Katen Kyōkotsu) Ability: A combat system based on games. Katen Kyōkotsu imposes rules derived from children's games onto the battlefield, forcing opponents into these unpredictable and often deadly scenarios. The rules are usually unfair and lethal. Kageoni (Shadow Demon): The one whose shadow is touched becomes vulnerable. Takaoni (Hawk Demon): The one in the higher position wins. Bushōgoma (Spinning Top of War): Attacks must be executed in a spinning motion. Irooni (Color Demon): The user selects a color, and attacks corresponding to that color become more powerful.

4. Bankai (Final Release)

Name: Katen Kyōkotsu: Karamatsu Shinjū (花天狂骨枯松心中, "Heavenly Flowers, Mad Bones: Withered Pine Lovers' Suicide") Ability: A reality-altering, deadly stage play. When activated, the battlefield is enveloped in an illusion where the opponent is trapped in a series of tragic fates: First Act: The opponent suffers wounds identical to those inflicted upon them. Second Act: Both Shunsui Kyōraku and the opponent weaken as if afflicted by a terminal illness. Third Act: The opponent experiences the agony of betrayal by someone they love. Final Act: The inevitable conclusion—a tragic double suicide.
