The symbiote known as Carnage is the son of the Venom Symbiote and is often bonded to sociopathic serial killer Cletus Kasady. When the Venom symbiote came to rescue its host, Eddie Brock (also known as the supervillain Venom), from prison, it left behind an asexually produced offspring. The spawn bonded to Cletus through a wound in his hand, fusing with his blood and taking on a red and black coloring. In his transformation, Carnage resembles his Spider-Man and Venom archetypes; he has large white eyes, a tongue, and sharp claws and teeth similar to the Venom symbiote, except that he is smaller than Venom's hulking form and is red like Spider-Man, albeit darker, with black lines running along his body.

Greta

Greta Kasady is a sociopathic serial killer who has bonded with an alien symbiote to become the notorious supervillain Carnage. After a troubled childhood that culminated in the razing of the St. Estes Home for Boys orphanage, Cletus became a serial killer and was eventually sentenced to eleven consecutive life sentences. Imprisoned on Ryker's Island, Cletus became cellmates with Eddie Brock, who had been separated from the Venom Symbiote. When the symbiote rescued Eddie, it left behind an offspring that bonded with Cletus and fused with his blood, turning him into the monstrous Carnage.
