Magic

All magic comes from the power of elementals. The stronger the elemental, the stronger the magic. The ranks, in ascending order, goes like this: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Demigods, and Gods. Common is the weakest and most common, while godly is said to be the most powerful, but only has one of each element.

Common Elementals

80 percent of creatures that get elementals get a common elemental. These are the size of a few grains of sand when given a form, and have a very insignificant amount of power. One might be able to make a few sparks by using a common fire elemental's power.

Uncommon Elementals

15 percent of creatures that get elementals get an uncommon elemental. These are about the size of a marble when given a form, and have a pretty insignificant amount of power. One might be able to make a match sized fire by using an uncommon fire elemental.

Rare Elementals

3 percent of creatures that get elementals get a rare elemental. These are about the size of a fist when given a form, and have a decent amount of power. One might be able to make a torch sized fire by using a rare fire elemental.

Epic Elementals

1.5 percent of creatures that get elementals get an epic elemental. These are about the size of the average child's torso when given a form, and have a lot of power. One might be able to make a large bonfire sized flame by using an epic fire elemental.

Legendary Elementals

0.4 percent of creatures that get elementals get legendary elementals. These are about the size of a large person when given a form, and have a lot of power. One might be able to make a fire the size of a small house by using a legendary fire elemental.

Mythic Elementals

0.099 percent of creatures that get elementals get mythical elementals. These are about the size of a small building when given a raw form, and have a hell of a lot of power. They can take on a humanoid form, which makes them about the size of their master. One might be able to make a fire the size of a large mansion by using a mythical fire elemental.

Demigod Elementals

0.001 percent of creatures that get elementals get demigod elementals. These are about the size of a massive castle when given a raw form, and they have untold power. They can take on a humanoid form, which makes them about the size of their master. One might be able make a fire the size an entire country by using a demigod elemental.

God Elementals

There are only one of each of this level of elemental, and they never follow the commands of anything but themselves. Nobody has ever seen their size when in their raw forms, but one person once said they saw a large mountainous island yawn, and people assume this large mountainous island was the Earth Elemental God in its raw form, although this was never confirmed. These beings are so powerful, anything they do has a massive ripple effect.

Elemental Types

Everyone has a different affinity for magic. Some people can be good at fire magic, but really bad at Earth magic. In this case, a fire elemental would answer that person's summoning ritual. Very rarely, someone might have an affinity for more than one element. These people would usually receive a Null type elemental, which allows for more than one type of element. There are eight types of elementals: Fire - Usually used in combat or to light fires Water - Usually used as a utility Earth - Usually used to restrain for defense in combat Air - Usually used for travel or to make combatants faster Light - Usually used as a utility to make things brighter Dark - Usually used to produce illusion or to make things darker Space - Usually used as a utility to make things lighter or heavier, and also for travel. This type of elemental is extremely rare, even as a common variant. Null - This category is reserved for any type of uncategorized elementals. These are pretty rare. Some examples of this would be: Electric, Metal, Ice, Nature.

Established Kingdoms

Avantris: This is the oldest of the standing kingdoms. Its economy is stable. Avantris is ruled by King Richard and Queen Mary. It was founded by Mark Avantris over 1000 years ago. This kingdom was recognized by the Elemental God of Water due to how long it has stood. It is in the center of most kingdoms, making it a tradehub for many kingdoms. Rupia: This is a brand new kingdom that is to the East of Avantris, being its neighbor. It is on very amicable terms with Avantris, but it has yet to stabilize itself, as it was only founded five years ago. Its founder, Winry Rupia, was personally recognized by the Elemental God of Space for her ingenuity with warp gates, which connects all the major cities in the world. It is ruled by the queen, Winry Rupia. Restarte: This kingdom is a nation of mainly elves, ruled by King Finran Gon. They are located to the North of Avantris. While Restarte is on favorable terms with Avantris, this is only due to the necessity for trade. The elves of Restarte usually hate humans, especially the humans in Rupia. King Finran Gon hates Winry Rupia in particular because she figured out complex special magic before any elves in his kingdom could. Solara: This kingdom is South of Avantris, and is one of massive military might. Before Rupia, it was the youngest kingdom, having been established 300 years ago. It's been acknowledged by the Elemental God of Fire for its tenacity and determination, and also because it is seeded in a harsh desert. It has a tense neutrality with Avantris, but only because of the trade routes. Solara is ruled by King Aelius Solara. Aelius sees Rupia as an ally due to his high opinion of Winry Rupia, who he wishes was his wife. Adaman: Located in mountains west of Avantris, this kingdom is mostly populated by dwarves. Adaman is favored by the Elemental God of Earth, since its residents are sturdy, and its cities are located inside massive caves. Not much is known about Adaman, as it's removed from the world mysteriously.

Established Kingdoms

To the far west, beyond the towering mountains, lies the mysterious kingdom of Lumina. Founded centuries ago by a visionary mage named Elysia, Lumina is renowned for its mastery of light magic and its enchanting, ever-glowing cities. The kingdom is ruled by Queen Lumina, a direct descendant of Elysia, who is said to be blessed by the Elemental God of Light itself. Lumina is known for its isolationist policies, rarely engaging in trade or diplomacy with the outside world. However, whispers of their powerful light magic and the rumors of their vast libraries of ancient knowledge have begun to spread, drawing the interest of scholars and adventurers alike. Despite their seclusion, Lumina maintains a fragile peace with its neighbors, though the true extent of their power remains unknown.
