Through the use of hallucinogenic gas, Nightmare Chica becomes a severely deteriorated and extensively modified version of the original Chica animatronic. Though the damage to her upper body is relatively minor, the lower torso of her suit is completely severed from her hips. Her bib is sharpened at the bottom, almost completely reduced to pieces. Nightmare Chica's lower legs are painted entirely orange instead of yellow with orange feet, and her kneecaps appear to be missing. The hands have a similar design to Springtrap and the other Nightmare Chica animatronics. She has orange feet with multiple tears, with most of her toes covered in black paint as if the color was chipped off. As with all other Nightmare animatronics, Nightmare Chica's head appears to be separated into two parts. Nightmare Chica's head bears a striking resemblance to the original Chica model from the second game, as both are large and seemingly split from the upper jaw down. Her beak is much larger than the one from the first game's Chica. Her beak is also filled with long, sharp teeth with green roots. The top right side of her mask is badly torn, exposing much of the endoskeleton's frame and wiring. Both of her swollen cheeks appear to have holes in them. Her eyes are grey and metallic. Her eyes also do not match; her left eye possesses red irises with a bright white pupil, while her right one appears to be glazed over the pupil and iris, making her look like she is half-blind. Nightmare Chica also has four seemingly identical "tufts" of feathers on the top of her head with a few small pieces missing.[1][2] Nightmare Cupcake Nightmare Cupcake is a nightmare counterpart to Chica's original cupcake.
