Past life

When Salem was born, his mother, Astrid, died shortly after giving birth, leaving Salem in the care of his father, Luke. Luke, due to the pain of losing his wife, began to hate his only son, becoming an alcoholic, easily irritated, and with anger issues. He would leave Salem as a baby with his mother's relatives, neighbors, or abandon him for days to die of cold, due to the neighbors, Salem survived despite his father's actions. As he grew up, Luke's abuse worsened, leading to him hitting Salem, burning parts of his body with metal materials heated to high temperatures, or having some men use him at will in exchange for money, causing Salem very deep emotional wounds that would end up turning into resentment towards his father but despite this, Salem remained standing. At 21, Salem had fallen in love with a friend from his neighborhood that he made a few years ago. That boy treated Salem like a prince and someone very special. So Salem discovered what truly made him happy for the first time. But before he could express his feelings, a very drunk Luke gouged out Salem's eye with a broken bottle, followed by several stab wounds that ultimately ended Salem's life. Due to repressed feelings of resentment, hatred and revenge, Salem woke up in hell as a demon, but with no memories.

Life as a demon

As time passed, Salem's memories returned, and he decided to take revenge on himself, searching for his father in the human world, tormenting him for his actions, Luke who had already regretted murdering his son, tried to escape from Salem when he recognized his son in front of him, wishing to finish off Luke as he had finished off Salem. When he had finally driven Luke mad, Salem used a knife to cut Luke's throat, then stabbed him in the face repeatedly to make sure he wouldn't survive. After his one murder, he lived his normal life despite being a demon among humans, but still with his painful memories of his past life tormenting him.

Personality

Because of what happened, Salem is a very serious and distrustful boy. However, once his trust is gained, Salem is a protective person. Due to his emotional wounds, Salem finds it difficult to express his feelings.
