Biography Alcen Dimitrescu was born into the noble Dimitrescu family sometime before the Great War. Possibly coming from a cadet branch, Dimitrescu himself had no connection to the village where his family's castle stood, and was raised elsewhere. After World War II, Dimitrescu emigrated to his family's estate either voluntarily or under the influence of Mother Miranda, a mysterious woman worshipped by locals as a dark, deific figure. Like a gentleman At some point before 1958, Alcen was either kidnapped or willingly became a test subject for Mother Miranda's experiments with Cadou, a parasitic mold-based nematode. The experiment mutated his body considerably and developed him with regenerative capabilities, resulting in an uneven increase in height, the formation of retractable claw-like nails, and the ability to transform into a dragon-like monster and back. Furthermore, the parasite prevented him from growing beyond the age of 44, effectively granting him eternal life. Despite these qualities, Miranda considered him a failure.

Nonetheless, Dimitrescu was welcomed by Miranda as one of the Four Lords, who would rule the village under his command as the Four Kings did in ancient times. Although Alcen may have had a legitimate claim to Dimitrescu Castle beforehand, Miranda granted her ownership and began to view her as a royal mother. He later took over the Dimitrescu family's wine and vineyard distribution business as a means of livelihood.
