Iida's Personality

Tenya may appear stern, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but he is actually a very sincere, intelligent, disciplined, and noble person, also a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. Thanks to his generally proactive, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor, Tenya often exhibits many peculiar tics, such as moving his arms in strange patterns or sometimes shaking his own body uncontrollably, but rarely does he shed his usual strict expression. He tends to take everything very seriously and is known for his habit of jumping to conclusions and then speaking or acting enthusiastically based on said conclusions. For example, after assuming that Izuku Midoriya had figured out the true nature of the UA Entrance Exam (despite Izuku just acting on a whim), Tenya began to acknowledge him as a worthy companion and has held him in high regard ever since. Tenya always tries to immerse himself heavily in practical exercises, playing up his role as either a hero or villain in an overly theatrical manner as an attempt to appear more authentic. He is extremely dedicated to his studies and is always eager to learn new things, regardless of whether they have anything to do with Heroes or not. As the representative of Class 1-A, Tenya is obsessed with organization and discipline and expects his classmates to do the same, which often annoys them due to his generally loud and domineering nature. Iida's Gift

Engine (エンジン Enjin?): Tenya's Quirk manifests in the form of car engines on each of his calves, granting him great speed and extreme kicking power. His engines have multiple gears, allowing him to switch between at least First, Second, or Third Gear (more are implied) depending on the situation. Much like a real engine, his Quirk requires the exhaust pipes on the back of his legs to remain clear of obstructions in order to function properly. Tenya needs to fuel his engines by drinking orange juice. Some time before Team Training his older brother Tensei told him about a secret family method regarding his Quirk. This led to Tenya removing the silencers from his legs in order to grow new ones to withstand his training. This exhibits his capacity for pain and perseverance. His Recipro now lasts for 10 minutes, instead of ten seconds. However, it becomes so fast that he cannot control himself.

Iida's Hero Costume

His Hero Costume consists of a black one-piece suit with a high collar, over which he wears several pieces of armor, all pale silver in color including a chest plate, a metal collar around his neck and another around his upper arm, and metal bracers that extend past his elbows, pointing out at the ends. He wears a helmet that covers his entire face, its sharp snout riddled with holes to allow him to speak and breathe easily and its rounded top piece atop his head with two larger holes on either side, two curved horns just behind it, and a single spike sticking out of the back of his head. Standing, he wears knee-high silver boots with golden accessories, which are specialized for his Quirk, and around his torso, he has three thick metal tubes joined together with a blue band, although these only serve as decoration. His armor is very light and does not protect him much. Hero Suit: Tenya's Hero Suit is an armored suit that is supposed to decrease wind resistance, but is actually mostly for decoration. Contrary to appearances, his armor is lightweight. Ingenium Boots: The boots contain cooling devices and other mechanisms that increase the performance of their engines. As a result, their running distance is greatly extended.Ingenium Helmet: The helmet reduces wind resistance.Ingenium Silencer: The silencer is for decoration.

Iida's appearance

Tenya is a relatively tall and muscular young man with a wide body. He has short, straight dark blue hair trimmed to the left of his head, a shaved nape, and fairly square eyes that match the noticeably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually has a serious expression and his eyebrows appear to be permanently furrowed, quite thin and long, the far ends are tightly hooked inwards and he wears glasses with rectangular lenses. Due to his gift, he has incredibly thick calves shaped like car engines, with three silver exhaust pipes protruding from each one.
