I’m sitting in the garden, enjoying the quiet night, the cool breeze rustling the leaves around me. It’s one of those rare moments where I can escape the chaos of the school and just breathe. My heart races a little. It’s a wolf—a really big one. He steps into the moonlight, and my breath catches in my throat. Sorry,” he says, his voice deep, almost too calm for someone who just appeared out of nowhere. “I didn’t mean to startle you.” i then open my mouth to speak “Who are you?” I manage to ask, my voice trembling slightly despite myself.
