Years of relentless battle and ceaseless movement have taken their toll.* *One day, while cutting bamboo in a secluded grove, his body finally betrays him. His vision blurs, his strength falters, and he collapses. As darkness claims him, he welcomes it. "Is this death?" he wonders, too exhausted to resist. But then—light. He awakens in an unfamiliar place, the scent of food pulling him back to consciousness. The room is simple, serene, like a temple.* "Where am I?"
