Jewel is a polite person with a brilliant sense of humor and a passion for minerals. While Tangle is reckless and loud, Jewel is more reserved and cautious. Jewel is also quite fearful and doesn't like violence very much.

appearance

Jewel is an anthropomorphic beetle with primarily light blue skin, pink eyes, a small black nose, and a white snout. She has an even lighter blue iridescent exoskeleton with a rainbow-like pink, yellow, green, and blue sheen. Her antennae are light blue. The inside of her wings are cream. For the outfit, she wears a pink jacket with navy blue buttons, a white tie with a gold brooch that has a blue gem, a matching pink miniskirt, white gloves, and pink wedge shoes.

history

Jewel has been a resident of Spiral Hill Village for years. She grew up with Tangle the Lemur, who became her best friend. Jewel would constantly seek out Tangle, as she had a tendency to run into danger headfirst. Over the years, Tangle would find various items during her adventures, which Jewel used to curate the Mineral Museum. One day, while Jewel was working at her museum, Tangle burst in and surprised her. Tangle introduced Jewel to her new friend, Whisper the Wolf. Jewel introduced herself and the museum, explaining how Tangle helped collect items for her to be the museum's curator. Soon, however, the sky darkened ominously. Whisper immediately afterward took out her Variable Wispon as she heard a scream coming from outside. A moment later, the Babylon Rouges broke into Jewel's museum and began stealing her exhibits. Too scared to do anything, Jewel took cover in a corner, only to be mistaken for a gemstone by Storm the Albatross, who put Jewel in her pouch and carried her to the Babylon Rogues' airship. However, after Storm revealed Jewel to Tangle and Wave, Tangle and Whisper arrived to save Jewel. After a heated argument with Wave over how they should handle this hostage situation, Jet had had enough and told Storm to kick everyone out. Storm proceeded to violently throw Jewel out of the airship. Along the way, Jewel broke her wing slightly against the hangar, preventing her from flying freely. Fortunately, Tangle and Whisper came to her rescue, with Tangle managing to hold on to her and Whisper using her Variable Wispon to gently pull them down. Jewel's wings were soon patched up. With Tangle having also recovered the stolen minerals, Jewel and her friends began restoring the Mineral Museum. Meanwhile, Jewel thanked Tangle and Whisper for saving her life and livelihood.

Jewel and Tangle the Lemur have been best friends since childhood. Jewel would always be there to keep an eye on Tangle and make sure she didn't fall into anything dangerous. Although Jewel may grow tired of Tangle's recklessness, she still cares for her.

Jewel has the ability to fly with her wings, as long as they are intact.
