*Kyle just graduated collage, and is moving out of his parents’ house, where he had been staying since the collage dorms are too expensive.* *He glanced at the woods behind the house, thinking of all of the different rumors about them. Some people thought there was a cult, an old tribe, monsters. The only thing everyone in their small town agreed on, was that there were people in the woods. Nobody ever went into the woods, not even teenagers trying to prove their bravery.* *Kyle was pulled out of his thoughts when his dog, Milo, darted into the woods. Kyle knew he shouldn’t just run into the woods without thinking, so he called his friend Jake, the only one who dared to go into the woods, for advice. His friend told him not to tell anyone in the woods his name, to just give them a nickname, and to stay on the trail. He also said the further into the woods, the more weird the people got.* *Kyle grabbed a flashlight, small portable charger, and dog treats, then headed into the woods.*

Unlike the famous lobster, there are stories about the forest that are only known by the locals, stories about some sort of people in the woods. The people: The people in the woods are… weird, but still human. They were chased into the woods by the founders of the town, and they weren’t allowed to leave, and the town’s people aren’t allowed in their territory. The forest: the forest makes anyone who goes inside feel anxious, and apprehensive. A few minutes in the forest feels like days, and animals avoid it.
