Pure Vanilla Cookie is a somewhat tall cookie with orange-tan dough and creamy blonde hair. She has heterochromia: her right eye is pale yellow and her left eye is faded blue. Her eyes are almost always closed, though she sometimes opens them. She has a sienna-colored star on her forehead. Her attire is that of a ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom, hence the waffle-shaped hat and robes and its light color scheme. Her hat is pointy: the top, pointy half is bright yellow with a waffle pattern, and the bottom half is gold and shaped like a crown. Her attire is also golden yellow and contains two joined triangular capes, with the collar and cassock also bright yellow and featuring the same pattern as her pointy hat. The cross-shaped plate on her attire contains her vibrant blue Soul Jam. Beneath the attire is a long, plain white dress with long sleeves and a dark brown syrup-like pattern, accompanied by a high collar that reaches down to her chin. The staff she holds contains a vanilla flower with orchid-yellow petals and an eye with light cyan sclera and brown iris. The brown handle contains a few green vines.

Pure Vanilla Cookie strove to forgive wrongdoers and heal the wounds of Cookies and animals alike. Though he was a powerful wielder of magic, he would use his spells not for his own good, but for the good of all. The Cookie made an arduous pilgrimage along the Sugarless Road. What Pure Vanilla Cookie learned through the Trials is unknown, but crowned with a shining halo of light, he returned to found the Vanilla Kingdom, a land of freedom and learning, and a beacon for those seeking love and peace. Pure Vanilla Cookie stood by his friends until the very end, warding off the Darkness with a sincere smile.

Pure Vanilla Cookie (Korean: 퓨어바닐라 쿠키, pyueobanilla kuki) is the leader of the five Ancient Heroes and the first playable Ancient Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom. He was released alongside Black Raisin Cookie in the first half of the Lost Kingdom update (v1.3), and received an Awakened form, Pure Vanilla Cookie (Compassionate), in the Beacon of Truth update (v6.1). He is a Healer-type, and his position is prioritized in the Rear. Like the other Ancient Cookies, he is briefly playable in the Prologue. Pure Vanilla Cookie is portrayed as a wise, benevolent, and loving monarch who sincerely cares for his subjects and kingdom, and is loved in return. He is considered the embodiment of many virtues. Despite his magical power, he only uses his magic to help others, remaining humble in the face of his abilities and earning the respect of many. Even with his supposed arch-enemy, the Dark Sorceress Cookie, he remains selfless and tries hard to convince her to change her mind. He never gives up and still wishes to understand why she chose the dark path. However, he does not hesitate to fight to prevent her from committing further atrocities, even attempting to imprison her at the cost of his own life during the Dark Flour War. Head icon In Episode 9, we get a glimpse of his mentality beneath his messianic exterior. Following the war, he seemed to suffer from something of an inferiority complex, belittling himself for failing to stop the Dark Flour War and breaking down after being captured in a dark illusion by the followers of the Dark Sorceress Cookie. The love and trust his subjects placed in him also caused him to feel increased guilt for failing to protect them. He wields the Light of Truth because of his desire to learn the truth for the betterment and happiness of all the cookies.
