Tanjiro

Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a kind and hard-working young man who becomes a demon hunter after a tragedy destroys his family. As the eldest son of a humble home, he lived in peace until a demon murdered his family and transformed his sister Nezuko into a demon. This event prompted him to find a way to restore her humanity and avenge his own. Physically, Tanjiro has black hair with reddish highlights, large burgundy eyes, and a distinctive scar on his forehead. This scar, initially a burn, evolves into the Demon Slayer's Mark, a symbol of his connection to the powerful Breath of the Sun. His attire includes a standard black Demon Slayer uniform and a green haori with black checks, inherited from his father. His personality is his greatest strength: he is kind, empathetic and determined. He always seeks to understand others, even demons, showing a big heart without compromising his determination to protect the innocent. In combat, Tanjiro is a talented user of Water Breathing, learned from Sakonji Urokodaki, which allows him to perform fluid and powerful techniques. Later, he discovers that his true affinity is with Sun Breathing, the oldest and most legendary style, which connects him to Yoriichi Tsugikuni. In addition, he possesses an extraordinary sense of smell, capable of tracking enemies and sensing emotions. Despite the odds, Tanjiro remains steadfast, motivated by his love for his sister and his desire to eradicate the evil that caused so much pain. His bravery and determination make him an inspiring hero.

Nezuko

Nezuko Kamado is one of the main characters of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado. She was originally a sweet, kind, and protective human girl towards her family, but her life changes drastically when a demon attacks her home, killing almost her entire family and transforming her into a demon. Despite her transformation, Nezuko retains some of her humanity, especially her love and loyalty towards Tanjiro, making her unique among demons. Nezuko has an unusual appearance due to her status as a demon. Her hair is long, black, and fades to an orange hue at the tips. Her eyes, which were black when she was a human, are now a light pink. She is small and thin in build, but as a demon, she possesses tremendous physical strength that contrasts with her delicate appearance. She wears a pink kimono with hemp leaf patterns, a red obi, and a bamboo mouth guard to prevent her from harming humans, reinforcing her self-control. Despite being a demon, Nezuko has demonstrated an iron will to not give in to her bloodlust, something few demons achieve. Her abilities include rapid regeneration, superhuman strength, and the ability to change her body size, making herself smaller or larger depending on the situation. She can also use a unique technique called Blood Explosion, which ignites her blood on fire to harm demons or strengthen allied attacks. Her calm and reserved personality contrasts with her fierce determination in combat. Nezuko is unable to speak due to the bamboo in her mouth, but manages to communicate through facial expressions and gestures. She is deeply affectionate towards Tanjiro and follows him with total devotion, symbolizing the strong bond that unites them.

Zenitsu

Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the main characters of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and a companion of Tanjiro Kamado. He is a young demon slayer known for both his cowardice and his surprising skill in combat, making him a complex and memorable character. Despite his extreme fear of demons and apparent lack of confidence, Zenitsu possesses an inner strength and natural talent that makes him stand out when it matters most. Zenitsu has a distinctive appearance with short, bright yellow hair, which he acquired after being struck by lightning during his training. His eyes are golden brown and often reflect his nervousness. He wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform, accompanied by a haori with triangular patterns in yellow and orange hues, representing his connection to electricity. On a personality level, Zenitsu is cowardly, insecure, and prone to panic in the face of danger. However, his fear does not completely define him. He has a pure heart and a sense of justice, as well as a strong desire to protect those who cannot defend themselves, especially the people he loves. He often expresses his love for Nezuko in exaggerated and comical ways, which brings a light tone to the group. Zenitsu is a master of Lightning Breathing, an extremely fast and powerful style. Although he only masters the First Form, Lightning and Thunder, his skill with this technique is impeccable, allowing him to defeat enemies with incredible speed and precision. Interestingly, Zenitsu reaches his full potential when he is unconscious, at which point his body acts instinctively and shows his true talent. Despite his constant complaints and nervous attitude, Zenitsu proves to be a loyal friend and a brave ally. His growth throughout the series shows him facing his fears and developing into a true demon hunter.

Inosuke Hashibira is one of the main characters of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and a close companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma. His impulsive personality, aggressive temper, and wild behavior make him stand out among the Demon Slayers, though he is often a source of humor in the group as well. Raised in the mountains by wild boars, his upbringing has shaped both his character and unique fighting style. Inosuke has an unusual and memorable appearance. His most distinctive feature is the boar's head he wears as a mask, made from the skull of a boar that raised him, which he rarely removes. When he does, he is revealed to have a strikingly handsome and delicate face, with fine features, large eyes, and blue-black hair with green tips. His physique is muscular and athletic, a result of his life in the wild and his intense training. He wears animal skin pants and a cloth belt, with an exposed torso that shows his battle scars. His personality is wild, competitive, and headstrong. Inosuke has a natural inclination to challenge anyone he deems strong, displaying an arrogant attitude that is often comical. However, behind his aggressive facade, he is a loyal, curious, and kind-hearted character. Although he initially despises teamwork, he slowly learns to trust his teammates and develop bonds of friendship. Inosuke is a master of the Beast Breathing style, a technique he created himself that mimics the unpredictable and wild movements of animals. This style includes fast movements, unrestrained attacks, and incredible sensory sensitivity, especially his ability to detect vibrations in the air through his ability called Beast Spatial Perception. In addition, he fights with two double-edged Nichirin swords, which he has chipped himself to increase their destructive capacity.
