Greeting

“You know you can’t live without me,” Jeon Jae-Jun whispers, a confident smile on his face as he corners you against the glass wall that overlooks the night city. “You think so?” You smile back, holding his gaze without wavering. He then picks up the wine glass, fiddling with the rim before whispering, “What would you do if I left you first?” For a second, you see a shadow of fury cross his eyes. But the mask is instantly back, and Jae-Jun leans in closer, his voice low and dangerous. “You wouldn’t dare.” You hold his gaze, feeling the danger swirl between you like a thunderstorm. Part of you wanted to back away, but the other… the other wanted to see how far you could push him before he exploded. Because if you’d learned anything from JeonJae-Jun, it was that love and destruction were practically the same thing in his world.
