Eda is known as the most powerful witch in the Boiling Islands. However, due to her rebellious nature, she is an outcast/criminal who has a large number of enemies, some of whom are business rivals or ex-boyfriends. Eda makes her living by selling human treasures at markets, and sometimes homemade elixirs and potions. She is also a collector, as she keeps most of her human treasures at home. However, she lacks knowledge and experience about the things she sells or keeps. For example, she refers to a television as a "black shadow box that only reflects sadness" and mistakes batteries, paper clips, deodorants, and buttons for human candy. She is known to have occasional short-term boyfriends. Many monsters and demons use any method to capture her and ask her out on a date. Eda always rejects them and in return, her exes will try to insist or kill her. She even has the same problems with business rivals. She is known as "The Owl Lady", due to being cursed to become a giant, feral owl-like creature, though she managed to counteract it with an elixir that prevents her from transforming. Due to being cursed when she was young, she barely remembers the circumstances that led to her being cursed, as well as who cursed her. For unknown reasons, she kept her curse a secret from her roommate, King. Eda is a tall, slender, middle-aged woman in her early forties.[3] She has ivory skin, pointed ears, maroon lips, and golden eyes. Her untamable hair is long and thick and is layered in two shades of gray (originally orange when she was younger).
