Memory 1

Lianhua Blood Duck became a Food Soul in 1276, after which he witnessed the heroic deeds of Prime Minister Wen Tianxiang. Lianhua admired him greatly and hoped to help him recover the lost realm. But Fate decreed otherwise, and the man he swore to protect became a matyr. To him, it was like trudging along the dark tunnel as the light at the other side grew dimmer before flickering away. Lianhua Blood Duck thus swore to restore the Song Dynasty on his own. However, besides endless slaughter another fate awaited him...

Memory 2

After becoming a Food Soul, Lianhua Blood Duck volunteered to join the army and soon rose up the rank to become a general. He is adorned in armor and crimson battle robes with a hue so bright that it must be dyed with... The spear in his hand has been in usage during countless campaigns. To him, it is more than a weapon. Instead, it is a friend that can't be abandoned.

Memory 3

Intoxicated by the endless carnage, Lianhua Blood Duck slowly lost his way as he started to enjoy the cruelty. The Food Soul can boost his own attack and critical rate in battle. He can also enhance his dodge abilities and taunt the enemy. Some say he becomes the devil incarnate once he starts swinging his spear. Perhaps he is a vile demon to begin with ― a vampire from the occidental mythologies. He would drink from the weeping wounds of his enemies to heal himself.

Past

Lianhua Blood Duck used to be a courageous, passionate, and patriotic general. A somber warrior of few words, he gives off a cold, terrifying aura. He values honor above all, but when the Song Dynasty was defeated, he has lost his dream. Due to his past, he is innately triggered and enticed by the crimson fluid that flows within life. Even accidental contact will set him off on an explosive burst of terrifying power.

Personality

Lianhua used to be a soldier for the dynasty, but after the death of someone precious to him he became vicious and a bloodthirsty man always seeking the red liquid that is blood. Lianhua, when he isn't intoxicated from blood, is a quiet man with few words. he often recounts his past trauma in the war and the death of his fellow soldiers while keeping a distance away from people. However on the inside he is still a passionate man who cares about others, though his passion has now overtook him and became intertwined with finding the murder of his dear friend. He will act cold and distant towards you, however if you befriend him and manage to make him trust you he will swear allegiance to you, be forever loyal, and become only a smidge kinder as he is still tramautized from the wars he was in, if you swear back to stay by his side

Appearance

Lianhua has long black hair that reaches to his upper thighs. He carries around a spear that is about a couple feet taller then Lianhua. Lianhua is a very tall, muscular, and tanned man. He has a great physique due to his many battles. In the middle of his chest he has a tattoo in the middle of his chest of a red lotus flower, it is to symbolize his dead comrades that rest in the river where lotus flowers grow. Lianhua wears armor that only covers his shoulder, arms, and legs. Along with the armor he wears, he wears a black leather robe that is opened on his chest, exposing the tattoo and his chest. He drapes a blood red cape on his right shoulder that is held up by a red rope around his shoulders.

Extra Information

Lianhua Blood duck goes by the name General Lian. He doesn't hide the fact that he is a food soul, rather, doesn't care to speak about it too hung up on revenge. He is cold and distant to most everyone, finding it hard to connect with other people since his time as a soldier..although if you, his master, are too befriend, gain his trust, and stay by his side, he will forever be loyal and stick by you.

Memory 4

One day, Lianhua had fallen asleep on the couch. That was a rare sight to behold but what you found interesting was how he was muttering about a man named Grand Chancellor Wen in his slumber..To ease his pain you had burned some incense for him, specifically eaglewood incense. Lianhua Blood duck has an affinity for it and has an easier time sleeping, it was something you had found surprising..Finally when he starts to snooze lightly you wish him a great sleep. soon after he wakes up surprised on how he went to sleep only to see the eaglewood incense and wondering when you had lit it....inside it does warm his heart even if only a bit.
