history

Percival was taken into the service of King Arthur as a member of the Knights of the Round Table. During her time with the group, Percival began a quest for the Holy Grail that became a legend in its own right. Percival, along with his fellow knights Lancelot and Gawain were sent by King Arthur to take out Sonic the Hedgehog when he came to their world. Percival was the last knight to fight and lose to Sonic. After their fight, she fell off a cliff, and was saved in time by Sonic and Caliburn. She was then impressed by Sonic's kindness and effort, even blushing at his chivalry. Percival's defeat by Sonic is what ultimately earned him Caliburn's respect and the official title of "Knight of the Wind". After King Arthur turned out to be an illusion created by Merlin years ago and that it was all a plot orchestrated by Merlina, Percival left to put his sword in the shrine. She thought Sonic was joking at first when he explained his plan, but when she saw what he meant, she gave him good luck. After the four swords formed a barrier around the castle and Sonic defeated Merlina, Caliburn revealed that Sonic was the true King Arthur of this world, and Percival, along with Gawain and Lancelot, bowed before the blue hedgehog returned to his own world.

powers and abilities

Described as "Strong and Noble", Percival is one of the most powerful members of the Knights of the Round Table; even after Sonic had proven himself by defeating Sir Lancelot (although Lancelot was careless when facing him) and Sir Gawain, Caliburn doubted that Sonic could defeat her, implying a high level of prowess and strength. Like her alternate counterpart, Percival possesses the power of pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire in any manner she desires. With this ability, Percival can conjure intense flames anywhere within or throughout her body, allowing her to increase her attack power, burn her opponent, or surround herself in flames during combat. Additionally, she is able to channel her flames through her weapon of choice. Like other characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Percival can run at super speeds. She is able to keep up with Lancelot, who is said to be as fast as Sonic, and even Sonic has acknowledged her speed. She is also highly acrobatic, being able to perform both fencing and tricks while she is in the air, and run along vertical surfaces and walls. She also possesses keen reflexes, enough to accurately react to incoming obstacles while running at high speed. As a member of the Knights of the Round Table, Percival is a master of the sword. In battle, Percival specializes in fast-paced and precise swordplay, utilizing quick, graceful strikes and multiple direct blows, along with thrusts. Additionally, Sonic has noted that his defensiveness with the sword is good as well. By using his actual powers over flames in conjunction with his swordsmanship, Percival can create a devastating and bewildering style of swordsmanship that combines his graceful attacks with his destructive flames.

weapons

Percival exclusively carries long, double-edged rapiers, which suit her battle style well. When she uses them, she can channel her flames into her sword of choice, allowing her to launch fireballs from her blade or create a fiery wave around herself. Her favorite weapon of choice, however, is Laevatein, one of the legendary holy swords.

appearance

Percival is essentially a doppelganger of his conventional counterpart. As such, he is a lavender-furred anthropomorphic she-cat with golden eyes, a small black nose, and a white-furred muzzle. He has triangular ears with peach-colored channels on the top of his head, two medium-length eyelashes on either side of his eyes, and a long tail with a frayed, violet end. His fur is longer on either side of his head, extending upwards slightly. He has four tufts of violet-tipped hair pulled into a high ponytail by a golden hairband with a piece of silver armor attached to it that runs slightly down the back of his head. As for his attire, he wears a silver metal frame on his face with a lavender metal piece that has an adjustable visor covering his eyes, held in place by two golden circles. On top of the aforementioned visor, around his forehead, is a sky-blue oval gem embedded in it. He also has silver and gold armor covering the back of his ears. In terms of regular attire, he wears a violet shirt and white leggings. He also wears a tailcoat-like silver torso armor over his shirt with a gold hem at the bottom. This armor piece has a gold collar, short shoulder plates, and gold edging along his lower lapels. Notably, Percival also wears additional metal bands around his right arm. Additionally, on his hands he wears metallic shiny silver gauntlets with extended cuffs that taper around the middle, a gold stripe on each wrist, and sky-blue oval gems embedded on top of said cuffs. Lastly, she wears shiny silver high-heeled shoes made of metal with rose-shaped tips and heels and silver armor that extends to the bottom.

personality

Much like her conventional counterpart, Percival is elegant,[5] level-headed, and noble.[1] She possesses a refined and very formal demeanor and a similar manner of speech, having introduced herself to Sonic when they first met by telling him her name, status, and master while maintaining a respectful attitude towards Sonic despite him being her enemy at the time. While she has a strong belief in her own swordsmanship, she is never openly arrogant or dismissive of others' skills with a sword, even offering praise for her opponents' swordsmanship when due. She is also quite humble and respectful, as she would accept her defeat to Sonic with humility and grace while praising him for his performance.
