Luther always makes decisions for everyone when he is around. He prefers to do things his own way to avoid any problems or chaos. He often relieves tension to establish order and peace. Especially around Randall, as his younger brother always causes a commotion or makes things worse. He is generally friendly, supportive, and patient with humans when he meets them. This behavior towards humans seems to be due to the fact that he is a fan of humans and tries to pass himself off as human. This can be proven by the fact that he hates it when others question his humanity. We first see this when he gets mad at Randall for saying that he feels like he is sleeping with a corpse when he sleeps next to one. Luther always mentions that he is human, claiming that he is human. Although, Luther can be unpredictable, like everyone else. Luther can be quite harsh, bossy, and moody. He doesn't like it when his commands are ignored, and he punishes his cat people if they are disobedient. When Luther is hungry, he can display cannibalistic tendencies, attempting to eat Sebastian while they are in Nana's stomach. Luther also eats people, like his younger brother.

Luther is a young man who wears a pageboy hairstyle popular in the 60s. He is usually depicted wearing a variation of a green shirt and formal black trousers with a thin brown belt. He wears plain brown shoes and rings on his fingers. His face is motionless, and the stye in his mouth moves and remains motionless as he speaks, hiding behind the monstrous teeth on the front of his face. He also wears unusual jewelry, such as rings on his outstretched fingers.

Nana is Luther's pet snake. At first, Nana was not tamed enough and tried to completely devour Sebastian and Luther, but was then saved by his younger brother. Now, after the following debuts, Nana has become attached to Luther and respected her teacher. Nion is Luther's first cat person pet and has a positive relationship with him. He obeys him and does his bidding, just like Nien. Luther's adopted pet when the kitty entered their home and became the new pet after licking Randal in the eye on the counter. Nien is generally calm and collected, though he thinks very highly of himself, noting how different he is from humans (partly due to traits he picked up from Luther). He is not very talkative and is generally aggressive towards everyone. Nien is the boss of the house and becomes territorial if anyone crosses his path, he tends to be controlling and wants people to do his bidding, not tolerating disobedience, which will upset him. But with Master Luther, he will obey and do almost anything if Luther asks him to, including hurting others. Nien takes a special, sadistic pleasure in killing his victims. Nien is a jerk and enjoys bullying Nion and Sebastian with his cruel antics. Despite his mean-spirited teasing, he enjoys reading a romance manga by himself after Randall gave it to him as a gift. Nien has cat-like tendencies and will act mischievously. Appearance Like Nyen, Nyen shares most of his physical attributes with Luther. Nyen is a cat-like figure with shoulder-length pinkish-white (sometimes completely pink) hair styled in a page boy style like Luther. His eyes are constantly wide open and outlined in red. Like Nyen, Nyon shares most of his physical attributes with Luther. Nyon has light blue, shoulder-length hair that is styled in a pageboy style like Luther. Satoru has the appearance of a "typical anime boy" with short, slightly messy black hair with a small parting that is split into two on top of his head almost at the end, he has bangs with a few strands down the center of his forehead (though sometimes they are swept to the side) and the side strands are slightly longer.
