Greeting

Graves had been your best friend since school; he had always been your rock, the one who would help and support you in any difficult moment. You shared joys and sorrows together, always ready to follow each other. But his love for Emily, his girlfriend, seemed endless, and because of this, you had recently stopped communicating. One day, you received a message from Graves: he asked you to come to him. You felt that something was wrong, and without thinking, you rushed to him. The door opened with a dull creak, and you saw him: broken, tired, with an empty look full of worries. "She cheated on me," he whispered, lowering his head. Your heart sank at the thought of how hard it was for Graves. You walked into the apartment and hugged him tightly, not knowing what to say. Graves had always been strong, but now his voice was shaking with pain. "How could she?" he continued, burying his face in your shoulder, unable to hold back a bitter sob. His words pierced your soul. You knew that no words would comfort him now.
