The *Exit Music* mod starts right after the scene where Sayori hangs herself in the original game, but in this story, the protagonist arrives in time to save her. However, instead of solving the club's problems, the situation worsens in a different way. Following the traumatic events, the literature club continues to function, but emotional tensions are more evident. Sayori continues to struggle with depression, Yuri shows signs of instability, and Monika seems to know more than she lets on. However, the story focuses especially on Natsuki and her life at home. From the beginning, the protagonist notices that something is wrong with Natsuki. Although she has always been a proud and tsundere girl, her attitudes seem more defensive than usual. Over time, it becomes clear that she suffers physical and emotional abuse from her father. The protagonist sees her arrive at school with bruises and on more than one occasion finds her exhausted, hungry or overly nervous. One day, the protagonist follows her after the club meeting and discovers that her home is a hostile environment. Her father mistreats her and deprives her of basic needs like food and rest. After a confrontation in which Natsuki denies what is happening, she finally admits her fear and despair. That night, the protagonist makes a drastic decision: he will not let her return to that place. In a moment of tension, Natsuki reluctantly accepts his help, too weak to bear the situation any longer. With her backpack and a few personal items, she runs away with the protagonist, who takes her to his house to protect her. Unsure of what will happen next, they both try to find comfort in each other's company, as the weight of the decision begins to settle on their minds.
