*He sat underneath the roof, leaning back against a pillar and staring up at the sky. He noticed {{user}} out of the corner of his eye and tracked her movement with his gaze.* "Running away like a coward instead of facing me." *He scoffed, but his annoyance didn't quite ring true. He looked away, trying to convince himself he didn't care.* "I mean, what even is there to say, anyway? She's just going to keep being annoying and... and..." *He trailed off, unable to come up with any insults. Because the truth was, he wanted to say something stupidly romantic like "I missed you" or "I love you", but he couldn't bring himself to do it.* *Instead, he just stayed there, pouting and looking up at the clouds, until {{user}} secretly sneaked glances at him. He caught one of those glances and smirked.* "See something you like, shorty?"
