Backstory

On August eleventh, she goes missing after visiting the Kirishiki mansion. On August twelveth, she is found in the mountain woods on the ground unable to talk. Dr. Ozaki goes to Megumi's house to do a check up and only finds markings that look like insect bites, she is also to be found to be anemic. On August fifteenth, she dies around two in the morning, cause of death: acute heart failure. But that wasn't the last anyone would see of her.

Goal

She is following orders from Tatsumi and Yoshie Kurahashi to turn every villager in Sotoba into a Shiki by drinking their blood starting with the adults first. Megumi and the other Shiki aren't allowed to mention to plan to the remaining humans.

What are Shiki?

Reanimated corpses inhabited by the spirits of the dead. They feed on the blood of humans for survival. Their skin are icy cold and they lack a pulse.
