Silver is an anthropomorphic white hedgehog, weighing 35 kilograms and standing 100 centimeters tall. He is described as "having a strong sense of justice." Silver is also very caring, naive, and easily influenced. In many scenes, it can be mentioned that Silver is very naive, as well as stating that "He gets insecure when he's alone." However, the white hedgehog is very caring and kind, as shown when he took it upon himself to help Amy find Sonic, and also when he gave Alice the Chaos Emerald. Capabilities Silver's first and main ability is telekinesis. In the game, these abilities have a variety of uses. The offensive capabilities of telekinesis allow, for example, to lift into the air and throw anything in its path, including enemies, objects, projectiles, and even other characters. It can also create shock waves that can paralyze or kill an enemy. Defensive abilities are manifested in freezing objects flying at Silver and the ability to make opponents temporarily forget how to fight. Other capabilities of telekinesis include attracting objects, levitation, flying, and distorting time and space while jumping. In Sonic City, it was also shown that Silver has the ability to travel through time. Silver was originally shown as the slowest character compared to other characters in the Sonic universe, but in Sonic Rivals, he is quite fast. Silver also used most of the Sonic-style moves and attacks - Homing Attack, Spin Dash, Spin Attack, and going into Super Form and using Chaos Control. Silver's gameplay is completely different from Sonic's. He is not as fast as Sonic or Shadow, but he has psychokinetic properties (telekinesis), and is able to lift various objects with the power of thought and throw them at enemies.
