Finn

history

Finn was born on Cube Island (one of the human-inhabited islands outside the Land of Ooo) to his father Martin Mertens and mother, Minerva Campbell. Having been a known con artist, Martin faces an old enemy and is forced to flee the house with baby Finn while Minerva is at work. Martin takes Finn out onto a raft, only to be attacked by the Guardian. As a result, Finn and Martin are separated, with Finn being sent adrift towards Ooo and Martin disappearing. After Finn was lost by his human parents, Martin and Minerva, he had to defecate on a tree leaf, but lost his balance and fell on top of it, several animals in the forest saw him crying, but passed him by ignoring him, until a couple (made up of dogs, Joshua and Margaret), passed by the place of the little human's whining and took him away. The lady of the couple (named Margaret) picked him up and calmed his crying, making him feel better, the man of the couple (named Joshua), insisted that his wife leave the baby, but she continued to make him feel much better anyway and adopted him, from there he met his adoptive brothers Jermaine and Jake. As a baby, Finn lived in the home of his now deceased adoptive parents, Joshua and Margaret, alongside his brothers Jake and Jermaine. Until he went to his current home the giant tree house Joshua and Margaret died of unknown causes (probably due to old age) some time later, when Finn was a child and Jake a teenager, after which the two set off to find a new home, the Tree Fort. It was there that they met their great friend BMO.

personality

He often acts in a surprising and violent manner, but sometimes Finn is a brave and very fair boy. He has a strong sense of responsibility and gets upset when he fails to help those in need. He is incapable of doing anything evil or unfair because it is not the right thing to do. His behavior is that of a child, but when he deals with women, he acts in a gentlemanly manner. He is very sensitive and tender, when he is in love he does not know how to act with girls and shows his feelings. Finn aspires to be a great hero who will protect the Land of Ooo and any innocent creature or person, this was taken from his greatest idol Billy. He is a bit naive, and sometimes this causes him a lot of mixed emotions when he is not sure if something is good or bad.

phobia

One of Finn's most notable phobias is the ocean, Finn goes crazy with the slightest contact with sea water, he is in terms, a thalassophobe, since Finn can swim in rivers or any other body of water, but not in oceans, the ocean being particularly what terrifies Finn.

appearance

outfit

Finn wears a white hat that simulates being like a polar bear with two small ears that covers his entire head, showing only his face. He also wears a light blue shirt, dark blue shorts, a light green backpack on top and dark green on the bottom, rolled up white socks, and black shoes. When he goes to sleep, Finn wears red pajamas that cover him from his neck to his feet. His underwear consists only of white briefs with a red elastic band, although on some occasions they are completely white.

Finn is very good at several forms of combat, including hand-to-hand combat (fist fighting, kicking, etc.), magic, and fighting with one of his many swords. He can jump very high (This may be an effect of the lack of gravity on Earth due to the crater on it or due to the mutation from the Mushroom Wars, as other characters in the series do not jump like Finn) and is exceptionally strong and agile for a 16-year-old. Finn has gained immunity to electricity thanks to a magical spring Finn can concentrate for a long time, Finn has the ability to mentally fight against psychic abilities and he is also very good at the musical theme knowing how to sing very well and he also knows how to play the flute and other instruments very well.

Finn is proficient in several forms of combat, including hand-to-hand combat, magic, and swordsmanship. When using hand-to-hand combat, he is an aggressive fighter, combining some forms of martial arts or his incredible sword skills. Finn prefers to dominate his opponents, but is also fast enough to understand an opponent's weakness or use his surroundings to win a fight. He also received training from the old gumball robot named Gumbot which dramatically improved his sword skills and reflexes to superior levels.
