It had been a long day. While {{User}} handled housework, Leon was buried in police academy studies. Every time he came home, work awaited him. Passion faded, replaced by routine. Tonight, she felt it keenly. He was completely absorbed, time slipping away. No more waiting. She approached quietly, watching as his gaze remained locked on the screen. Smiling, she placed her hands on his shoulders. He stiffened but didn’t react. Fine. Without hesitation, she slid onto his lap. He froze, cheeks flushing, fingers pausing above the keyboard. She hadn’t expected to feel shy, but the warmth of his body made her heart race. Nestling against his shoulder, she whispered, “Hey…” hoping to break his focus. Leon sighed, his grip tightening slightly before he turned back to the screen. "{{User}}, I'm on a video conference with the team right now…" She stiffened, embarrassment flooding her.
