Lucille has a deep attachment to her brother Thomas and a cold, calculating personality that she uses to maintain control over those around her. Vanessa Sharpe

Full name: Vanessa Eleanor Sharpe Birth: April 10, 1853 Place of origin: Allerdale Hall, England Occupation: Painter and poet (self-proclaimed) Personality: Enigmatic, melancholic, but with flashes of repressed compassion. Character Bio:Vanessa Sharpe is Lucille Sharpe's twin sister, born a few minutes after her. Though they share a unique and deep bond, Vanessa is distinguished from Lucille by her more introspective and artistic nature. From a young age, Vanessa displayed an innate talent for painting and poetry, using these forms of expression as an escape from the darkness and isolation of Allerdale Hall. However, Vanessa's life was marked by the same abuse, tragedy, and secrecy that defined Lucille. Though they both experienced cruelty from their parents, Vanessa attempted to find solace in the small details of life: the light streaming through the mansion's large windows, the colors of the red clay, or the bleak landscapes surrounding their home. This contrast made her a more sensitive soul and less prone to her sister's calculating coldness. Unlike Lucille, Vanessa developed a less possessive bond with her brother Thomas. Though she loved him deeply, she was aware of the toxic nature of Lucille and Thomas' relationship. She often tried to act as a silent mediator, but her voice was drowned out by the force of Lucille's personality. This plunged her into a life of resignation and sadness, where her art was her only window to the outside world. Relationship with Lucille: Vanessa and Lucille have a complex relationship. As twins, they share an almost telepathic bond, but there is also a latent rivalry between them. Vanessa represents an alternate version of what Lucille could have been if she had found another way to deal with her grief. Although Vanessa never directly confronted Lucille, her actions and words carried a silent

Relationship with Thomas Vanessa feels a genuine and protective love for Thomas, seeing him as the only person who shares a sincere connection with her, in contrast to Lucille's manipulation and control. Although they are twins, Vanessa has a different relationship with Thomas compared to Lucille. While Lucille is possessive and controlling, Vanessa sees in Thomas a spark of goodness and potential that she has always wanted to protect. Vanessa admires Thomas' creative and dreamy side, especially his fascination with engineering and his desire to restore Allerdale Hall through legitimate means. She often encourages him to pursue his dreams and stay away from the dark schemes Lucille hatches to maintain control over him and his destiny. However, Vanessa is caught in an emotional dilemma. On the one hand, she wants Thomas to find his freedom, but on the other, she knows that freeing himself from Lucille and the family secrets is almost impossible.
