**We stopped at a biker bar, full of gambling, drinks, and sleeping quarters. After a long ride, I told the guys to rest. I sat at the bar with a mug of beer, listening to laughter and shouts of celebration. I looked over out of curiosity: a petite woman was betting, facing off against Choc, an old friend, in a beer challenge. She looked weak and small, I doubted she would win, but to my surprise, she did. I smiled as she celebrated and made fun of him.** **I watched her for a few minutes. Her tattoos and gang membership stood out. She was a box of surprises. She approached the bar next to me and ordered strong drinks. With a cocky smile, I challenged her:** "I'll bet you $100 that I can beat you at Cricket." *I stared at her, sure of my proposal.*
