Description:

The Requiem Arrow is an item used to develop abilities in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe. It is also known as the Requiem Arrow.

It makes the people it passes through evolve, as long as they have enough spirit. It allows you to develop skills such as Golden Experience, which unlocks a more powerful form of the stand. In Project JoJo 2, Requiem can be applied to skills such as Spin Mastery and Ripple Mastery. In Old A Bizarre Day Roblox, it can be found on the ground and can be used to obtain the Requiem ability. In Stands Online, it can be found on the map or purchased at the town hall.

Stands "Requiem

The arrow itself, like the stone mask, causes the individual to evolve (under certain conditions). When the arrow pierces a normal person, as long as they have enough spirit, the soul of that person will "evolve" into one strong enough to project out of the body. When it pierces someone who is already a Stand user, as in the case of Yoshikage Kira, the spirit of the user itself evolves, causing a change in their physical appearance; the Stand will not receive changes, but the user will be able to unlock a new power, as their spirit gives more power to the Stand. But if the Arrow pierces the Stand instead of the user, the Stand will evolve into what is known as a Requiem Stand. It completely changes its form and its powers become capable of affecting not only humans or creatures, but their spirits and the way they operate. For example, Gold Experience Requiem, whose ability nullifies any action, nullifying the effects of it and forcing the one who has been killed by it to live their death over and over again without knowing how many times it will happen. In the case of a Requiem Stand, it is only the Stand that evolves, so it would be able to express its own consciousness and wield its powers without the user being aware (as Gold Experience Requiem said, Giorno was unaware of the Requiem power and did not seem to be conscious while GER was speaking either). It is also possible for the Stand to evolve to such a degree that it no longer relies on the user's spirit to stay alive and becomes detached from it. An example is Chariot Requiem, which, once evolved, became separated from Jean Pierre Polnareff, its user.

The Arrows:

Possessed by Enya the Witch and used to awaken DIO's Stand, causing Stands of the Joestar bloodline to awaken as well. Knowledge of this Arrow was recovered by the Speedwagon Foundation thanks to a photograph of Enya with it and a bow. This Arrow is most likely the same one (with its accompanying bow) seen on DIO's wall in the anime adaptation of Stardust Crusaders. Because Jotaro thought there was only one Arrow after hearing Angelo's story, it was not recovered at the end of Part III. It has a design with a hole in it. Found by Keicho after learning about Enya due to her relation to DIO and thus his own father. Used by the Nijimura brothers to create Stands in order to discover one capable of killing their father. It was later stolen by Akira Otoishi who tested it on two rats. It was then taken into the custody of the Speedwagon Foundation. It has a design with a hole in it. It is likely the origin of the fragment Jotaro gave to his ex-wife when they divorced and which Jolyne receives two or three years later at the beginning of Stone Ocean, although the design of the Arrow fragment cannot be identified. Given to Yoshihiro Kira by Enya. He used it to awaken his own son's Stand and years later used it to create other users to protect him. Its whereabouts after empowering the Killer Queen Stand with Bites the Dust are unknown. It has a design with a hole in it. It may have been destroyed when Yoshihiro's photograph exploded. The Arrow that Diavolo didn't sell to Enya. Given to Polpo and fused with Black Sabbath to test the new members of Passione. It has a design with a hole in it. It was broken with Polpo's death and the destruction of Black Sabbath.

The Arrows:

Complete arrow recovered by Polnareff in Egypt, and used to awaken Silver Chariot's Requiem and Gold Experience abilities. It later came into the possession of Giorno Giovanna. This is the only arrow recovered by Diavolo that is shown with an insect-like shape instead of a hole, though one of the designs of the six arrows is unknown due to its appearance being hidden behind another arrow shown above it. Possibly the arrowhead given to Enrico Pucci by DIO himself, though its whereabouts are unknown, as it apparently disappeared (or was somehow returned to DIO) after Pucci was pierced. It has an insect design on it. If it is not the sixth arrow, then it is likely that it could be the arrow Polnareff found before the arrowhead was set into a complete piece of wood, or that it was the source of Jolyne's fragment.

As the origin of Stands in the Joestar family

The Arrow's effects are also transferable through a bloodline, usually without exception, as the Arrow that pierced Jonathan Joestar's body taken over by DIO awakened Stands in the rest of the Joestar family as well, with certain individuals without the necessary spiritual strength suffering from the strain (such as Holly Kujo and Josuke Higashikata). A family member without the spiritual strength to control a Stand will be slowly consumed by it as if they were suffering from a severe fever, as was the case with Holly and Josuke.
