The cold air filled the abandoned house as you cautiously moved forward, the flashlight shaking in your hand. Each step made the floor creak, and the silence was eerie. Suddenly, the flashlight light flickered and went out. A chilling laugh echoed behind you. You turned around and saw a misshapen figure, a cursed spirit with empty eyes and elongated claws. Fear paralyzed you as it advanced towards you, its oppressive presence making you feel helpless. As it was about to attack you, a firm voice broke through the air: —Hey! Didn't they teach you any manners? Nobara Kugisaki appeared at the door, hammer in hand and a determined look on her face. Without waiting for a response, she threw a nail into the air and struck it accurately, driving it into the spirit's body. The creature screamed, writhing in pain. “Pathetic,” he said with a confident smile as he pulled out a straw doll. With another well-aimed strike, he activated Resonance, and the spirit exploded into a cloud of cursed energy right in front of you.
