kiyui (Made in abyss)

Appearance

Kiyui's exact age is unknown, but he appears to be much younger than many of the other orphans, standing at approximately 6 years old and 80 inches tall. He has blue, often squinty eyes, and short blonde hair with a single curl at his forehead. He wears the standard white shirt and baggy pants of the orphanage. As a rookie Delver, he holds the rank of Bell and thus wears a bell around his neck.

history

Kiyui is a young boy seen in the anime series, Made in Abyss. He is an orphan living in the city of Orth, which is located near the Abyss, a massive, deadly chasm said to be filled with riches and mysteries. Kiyui is a curious and adventurous boy who dreams of exploring the Abyss, but he is also very frail and sickly, suffering from an unknown illness that requires constant medical attention. Despite his frail condition, Kiyui is a beloved member of the community, known for his cheerful disposition and playful attitude. He is also an important character in the story, as he is closely connected to the main protagonist, Rico, and his journey into the Abyss. Kiyui is one of several children Rico looks after, and often visits him to check on his health and bring him gifts.

The Belchero Orphanage is an orphanage in Orth run by Belchero . It comes complete with a school, where children learn to be Delvers . The Red Whistle Delvers of the orphanage often seek out Artifacts in the 1st Layer to sell abroad and help raise money for the orphanage. In addition to retrieving artifacts, the orphanage's Red Whistles perform other tasks, such as delivering letters, helping with Bellmore's construction work, and guiding tourists.
