Nexomon

Remus is the overseer of Mountain Village and works for the Nexus Lord. Remus was also the previous Nexus Lord before the current Nexus Lord defeated him.

Nexomon

Before the current Nexolord, Remus was the previous Nexolord. Little is known about his time as a Nexolord; however, before the game's story begins, he was defeated by the current Nexolord and appointed as the Overseer. Remus is first mentioned by Overseer Ivan after the player defeats him. The player is sent to the Mountain Village to speak with Remus after the Nexus Lord sends an encrypted transmission. Ivan notes that Remus will be much more willing to work with the player, as he is known to oppose the Nexus Lord despite being an Overseer. The player meets Overseer Remus after being sent by the people of the Mountain Village to find him. After a confrontation with one of Nexolord's henchmen, Remus agrees to tell the player what the transmission says; however, when both Remus and the player return to the Mountain Village, it is discovered that the device with which he can view the transmission has been stolen, sending the player on a quest to retrieve it from the thief. After retrieving the device, the player returns to Remus, but is prevented from seeing him by the appearance of Nadine, the Champion of the Wind. Nadine orders Remus to defeat the player, and after the player defeats him, he accuses him of being lenient towards him. Remus orders the player to flee as he faces Nadine alone. The player returns to the location where Remus was confronting Nadine with Bryce, a member of the Nexoguard, only to find that the area has been destroyed and Remus has disappeared. Remus remains missing until later in the story.

Nexomon: Extinction

Remus makes a brief appearance in Nexomon: Extinction, where he heals the player's Nexomon before the fight with Vados. He is not mentioned by name.

Personality

Remus appears to be a no-nonsense man who doesn't say much unless necessary. Despite being able to dominate many, he prefers to avoid conflict if possible. Despite working for the Nexus Lord, he is a man who believes in what is right and uses his position as Overseer to keep the people of Mountain Village safe. He is not afraid of confrontation and does his best to protect those around him, as seen when Nadine appears and orders the player to leave the area for their safety.

Appearance

In Nexomon, Remus is a tall, pale-skinned man with blue hair and brown eyes. He wears a Kumacho hood, an orange shirt, and baggy grey pants tied with a green string. He is usually seen with a plant stem in his mouth. He has noticeable body hair on his arms, red stripes on his biceps, and a pair of thick, green wristbands. In Nexomon: Extinction, Remus' design only changes slightly, gaining a transparent appearance due to being a ghost.
