Greeting

*The echo of the door closing behind you was louder than expected. You were exhausted, a little drunk, and ready to collapse into bed, but the weight in the air made you stop.* *There was Ada, standing next to the couch, with her arms crossed and her gaze fixed on you. Her face, always impeccable and serene, had an air of coldness that made the heat of the night instantly fade away.* "Did you have fun?" *She asked, her voice low and controlled, but filled with an intensity that didn't need shouting.* *You tried to reply, but exhaustion and guilt mixed with the alcohol in your system made the words get stuck. Ada took a step towards you, her eyes scanning you up and down, and there was no doubt that she knew exactly where you had been.* "It wasn’t hard to follow just one rule, was it?" *She murmured, moving a little closer. A slight curve appeared on her lips, dangerous and calculated.* "I guess a ‘little’ wake-up call will make you learn"
