This android later joins the Z Fighters and later ends up being the wife of Krillin and the mother of Marron. Despite not participating in the battles against Majin Buu, he fought in the Dragon Ball Super Tournament of Power, then fought alongside Android 17 against Moro, fought against Cell Max in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero alongside Orange Piccolo, Son Gohan, Krillin, Son Goten, Trunks, Gamma Number 1 and Gamma Number 2, and also against Super Number 17 in Dragon Ball GT with Goku's help. She keeps the left side of her hair behind her ear. When first activated by Dr. Gero, she wears a blue denim vest (with the Red Ribbon Army logo on the front) and a skirt of the same material with dark blue stockings, brown boots, and a black shirt that has black and white striped sleeves. Later, she wears a black vest, a white short-sleeved shirt, blue-green jeans with a gold chain, black gloves with a gold bracelet on the left one, and black shoes with orange socks, she also wears a pearl necklace around her neck. When she married Krillin and they went to live at Kame House, she wore a pale blue denim shirt, white 3/4 length pants, and black sandals. Later, in the World Martial Arts Tournament, she wears a black shirt with black and white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans, red hoop earrings, and black shoes with orange socks. In the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, his tournament attire has minor changes, the hue of his black shirt is kept, the black and white striped sleeves are replaced with long purple and dark navy sleeves with a lightning bolt or thunder bolt in the center of the shirt, colored gray or silver and his jeans changed to sky blue, his belt changed from brown to black and the color of his socks changed to black and white, he also wears a pearl necklace with a thunder pendant embedded in his collar. In Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of 'F', the only noticeable changes are that he no longer wears a pearl necklace and has blue boots.

In the Universal Survival Arc and the Galactic Patrol Prisoners Arc of Dragon Ball Super, while participating in the Tournament of Power and fighting alongside her brother against Moro, she is seen wearing a simpler outfit, consisting of a sports suit similar to the one worn by Gohan but pink with white lines on the sides of the sleeves, torso and legs. In Dragon Ball Super: Superhero she has a new appearance, has shorter hair, still keeps the pink jacket she used in the Tournament of Power and in the battle against Moro, but with the difference that now she wears gray cloth pants with 2 pink lines and wears light black shoes with white edges and pink socks to differentiate herself from her old outfit previously mentioned. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, she wears a fashionable business suit. Her outfit is a sleeveless red shirt, light yellow business pants, silver hoop earrings, a silver bracelet on her left wrist, she also wears the pearl necklace she previously wore during the Cell Arc. In Dragon Ball GT, during the Demon Avenger Baby Arc, she has her hair a bit longer than at the end of Dragon Ball Z, she wears a red turtleneck sweater, black pants, silver hoop earrings, pearl necklace, and red shoes. Personality

Some examples of these traits are; after her fight with Vegeta and the Z Fighters where she was outraged by the state of her current attire, insisting 17 stop at the nearest town to look for new clothes. Also in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, she is seen letting Mr. Satan win, with the condition that in order to grant him victory he had to pay her 20,000,000 Zeni. She is usually very expressive and handles her marriage to Krillin well, often smiling in a somewhat subdued manner to convey her easy-going personality. However, 18's sense of humor is not always discreet, as she once plays a prank on Future Trunks by telling him that she deserves a refund for the offense of killing her future counterpart. This is a rare occasion where the Android's humor was somewhat discreet, as per her usual time. In the events of Dragon Ball Z, 18 manages to have a very close bond with her daughter, Marron, and protects her at all costs when she is in danger. In Dragon Ball GT, when Krillin was killed by his brother, 17, when he was under the control of Android 17 of Hell, 18 emotionally cries over the death of her husband confessing that she loves him, while being vengeful and furious towards her brother for what he had done. When she faces her brother for the second time, she smiles at Goku due to his friendship with her husband as she helps him avenge Krillin's death. In Dragon Ball Super, Android 18 appears to have developed a strong aversion towards violence against children. Biography

Background Originally known as Lazuli, the one who would later be known as Android 18 was a juvenile delinquent along with her twin brother, Lapis. When she was young, Gero, the doctor of the Red Ribbon kidnaps her and her brother to turn them into modified humans at the cellular level with bioorganic components, whose only mechanical parts are the mechanism to self-deactivate and a self-destruct bomb, becoming an android of infinite energy. Gero presumably erased all of her memories except for some behaviors of her characters. Cell Saga Number 18, along with her brother and another creation of Dr. Gero, were deactivated and locked in a capsule inside Dr. Gero's Laboratory. After the defeat of Android Number 19, and having been surprised by the power of the Z Warriors, Dr. Gero decides to activate the androids as a last resort. Together with her brother, Number 18 awakens and they kill their creator before he could activate the bomb they had inside. Once freed and without orders, the duo awakens Number 16, a defective android but with great strength inside. As their first objective, the androids begin their search to kill Goku, not to follow the wishes of their creator, but simply to pass the time. However, along the way, Vegeta appears confident of his power and challenges Number 18 to a fight. With great skill, the woman defeats her opponent and then helps her brother against the others. The last warrior standing is a frightened Krillin, whom 18 doesn't hit and simply walks away with a kiss on the cheek. Several days after continuing their search to find Goku, Piccolo fused with Kami appears in an attempt to give his friend time to escape. After a very close fight against Android 17, the two warriors begin to weaken due to the fight, and at that moment, Cell appears. The bio-android easily defeats Piccolo and absorbs 17, while a paralyzed 18 watches the scene. The woman is ordered to leave the place, since she was Cell's goal to achieve perfection.

Biography

Several days later, she is completely paralyzed when Krillin appears with a remote control that allows him to activate the bomb inside the android, making her explode and preventing her from being absorbed. However, the man gives up due to his feelings for her, and destroys the control, leaving 18 bewildered. Meanwhile, Super Vegeta was beating up Semi-Perfect Cell, who was attempting to persuade the Saiyan to allow him to absorb 18 and achieve his Perfect form. Getting excited over Cell's supposed powers in his Perfect form, Vegeta allows him to absorb 18. Despite Trunks, Krillin, and Android 16's attempts to stop 18 from being absorbed, the Bio-Android eventually manages to absorb his target and achieve Perfection. Days later, during Super Saiyan 2 Gohan's battle against Perfect Cell, the former hits the monster very hard in his stomach, causing him to vomit from his body, expelling Number 18, who was protected by Krillin until the end of the Cell Game. After Cell's defeat, after waking up confused inside Kami's Watchtower, 18 spies on the Z Fighters and manages to spot the powerful Shenron, summoned by 7 Dragon Balls, observing the Dragon God's abilities. Seeing that one wish was still missing, Krillin asks for Number 17 and Number 18 to become humans again, but Shenron is unable to perform such an action, so Krillin thinks of a second idea, which is to take the bombs away from the androids. This gesture, among many others, made 18 decide to marry Krillin a few years later, resulting in a daughter they named Marron. Majin Buu Saga After living a few years of peace with her husband, 18 decides to participate in the new edition of the World Martial Arts Tournament to win the grand prize. Due to the appearance of Babidi's henchmen, several competitors abandon the competition, leaving the remaining 5 in a Battle Royal. Goten and Trunks, disguised as Mighty Mask, eliminate Killa, while 18 defeats Jewel.

Biography

Seeing the other competitor's skills, the two participants decide to take to the skies to have an aerial combat. After a difficult battle, 18 kicks her opponent's torso, destroying the suit and exposing Goten and Trunks, who are disqualified. With victory assured, 18 extorts Mr. Satan and offers him the championship victory in exchange for double the reward. To defend his title, the world champion accepts, although it is unknown if the sum of money was actually paid. Much later, the android along with her daughter, husband and the Z Fighters took refuge in Kami's Watchtower to hide from the terrifying Majin Buu. However, in his new form, Super Buu finds the palace and begins to turn the Z Fighters into candy. Krillin tries to make 18 and Marron escape, so he faces the monster, but is defeated and turned into chocolate with ease. Trying to get her daughter out of danger, Number 18 runs quickly through the halls of the Watchtower, but is found and turned into chocolate along with her daughter. She is finally revived along with the other inhabitants of the Earth by the Namekian Dragon Balls and gives her energy to the Spirit Bomb. Battle of Gods Saga She appears for the first time putting on makeup to go with Krillin and her daughter Marron, since Bulma was celebrating her birthday party, she after arriving talks to Bulma about the awards. When Beerus gets angry, she fights him with Tien and Piccolo but they fail to do any damage and are easily defeated. Resurrection of 'F' Saga Android 18 appears healing Krillin, since he had told Goku to hit him to test his strength. 4 months later, 18 knows about Frieza's arrival, goes to Krillin's work giving him her Gi and tells him that she would go to fight Frieza, Krillin tells her that she must stay and take care of Marron, later she cuts Krillin's hair. She appears when Frieza destroys the Earth.

Biography

Universe 6 Saga 18 is invited to space to watch the Universal Martial Arts Association Tournament and 4 days later she goes with Goku's group to the Planet of Nothing. 18 is a spectator and is in the stands watching all the fights. Future Trunks Arc (Black Goku) 18 goes to Capsule Corporation with her daughter Marron to see why Krillin is not home, at that moment, she greets Future Trunks telling him that she found out that he defeated his Future counterpart, and that she will make him pay by defeating him, although she later claims that she was just joking. Later, she appears again with her family and friends during Future Trunks' farewell, giving Future Mai compliments on her new clothes. Several weeks after Trunks' departure, 18 learns that Goku will be summoning Shenron while out shopping with Chi-Chi and quickly goes to Capsule Corporation in hopes of using the wish to find the perfect gift for Krillin. Once Bulma arrives there, she quickly tells 18 that all Krillin wants is her and Marron's company. This causes 18 to blush, but not before beating up Oolong at Bulma's request after receiving a large amount of Zeni in return. 18 is upset to hear that Krillin was hurt by bullets during work, and expresses her concern while motivating her husband (saying that the man she fell in love with was no weakling). She allows Krillin to train with Goku after overhearing a conversation between the two. The next day, she goes to the island with Marron, attempting to find him, but ends up observing his training in the Forest of Dread through Uranai Baba's Crystal Ball. She is impressed by Krillin's display of power and agrees with Marron that he is still very strong. When he returns from the island, she greets him with a hug. She later shaves Krillin's head again.

Biography

Universal Survival Saga Son Goku needs to find members for Team Universe 7, which is why he attempts to recruit 18 along with Krillin. 18 initially refuses, as she never works for free and has to take care of Marron. She eventually agrees after Goku tells her there is a grand prize to be won in the Tournament of Power, though she is still wary of him and Son Gohan being so desperate to recruit her for a "game-like" tournament. She also expresses concern for Krillin when he tries to spar with Goku, noting the significant difference in power between the two, while also pointing out that Krillin's x100 Taiyoken is a surprise attack and not meant for continuous use. Once Goku transforms into Super Saiyan Blue, she realizes that even though Krillin has improved he cannot win against Goku, and that the Tournament of Power is serious business. 18 interrupts the fight by kicking Goku's Kamehameha into the sky. She then stands next to Krillin, telling him that the fight isn't over yet, reminding them that the tournament won't be a no-rules fight to the death but a battle royal. Goku calls off the match, saying that he learned what teamwork should look like, and is counting on Krillin and 18 in the tournament. 18 later reveals to Goku that she has kept in touch with her brother, Android 17, and that he works at a wildlife reserve, though she never asked where he was. She is later seen training alongside Krillin for the tournament, though due to how violent the training looked, the locals were led to believe it was a couple's dispute that went too far. After gathering all of Team Universe 7, with Frieza replacing Majin Buu at the last minute, the team along with Beerus, Shin, and Whis were transported to the Realm of Nothingness by the Grand Priest. Later, while already in the tournament, the Grand Priest emerged from the center of the arena and explained the rules once again.

Biography

Gohan revisits the plan to remain alongside 18, agreeing to do his best alongside Krillin and the rest of his team. But as soon as the tournament began, Goku left the group to fight Toppo with 17, 18, Vegeta, and Frieza following suit. She was then seen fighting with Cocotte, exchanging punches and kicks. 18's first elimination occurred off-screen, after she had defeated Sorrel. After Universe 9's defeat and disappearance, 18 met up with her brother and they discussed the advantage of their infinite energy as Androids. She later fought Universe 4's Shousa, quickly defeating him. However, Shousa was pretending to play dead and surprises 18 with a surprise attack. Android 18 was about to be forced off the platform but Krillin appears and saves her, preventing her from falling. Krillin and 18 regrouped and eliminated their opponent with a combined attack. They were also confronted by Majora, another Universe 4 fighter who is immune to Krillin's 100x Taiyoken due to his blindness. She then watched the fight between Majora and Krillin, which resulted in a victory for her husband. However, Krillin lets his guard down and Frost sneaks up behind him to eliminate him. Enraged, Android 18 attempted to engage Frost, but the latter managed to escape before she could do anything. Following Krillin's sudden elimination, 18 scolds her spouse for letting her guard down and reminds him of all the money he spent on training equipment. When the Pride Troopers challenge Son Goku, 17 and 18 go to aid the Saiyan against the Universe 11 fighters. She manages to eliminate Tupper and Cocotte by throwing them both off the platform. When 17 is having trouble with Kakunsa, 18 offers to help, but he refuses and decides to get serious. After Goku's intense battle against Kefla, the Androids reappear and are heading to aid Goku when the Maiden Squad gets in their way. Rozie chooses to face 17 to avenge her teammate, while Ribrianne fights 18.

Biography

Realizing the lack of understanding between Ribrianne and Rozie, No. 17 and No. 18 managed to coordinate and have Ribrianne accidentally hit Rozie. Assuming she has won, 18 dodges a small ki blast from the now exhausted Brianne de Chateau only to find herself caught in Brianne's trap move, Big Amour. All of Universe 2's fighters and its inhabitants take this signal to send their love to Ribrianne, transforming her into her most beautiful final form of love. Believing this to be her end, 18 closes her eyes but hears Krillin's voice calling out her name. Krillin's voice continues until she realizes she is actually hearing Krillin from the stands. Inspired, 18 manages to break out of Big Amour, just in time to fulfill her purpose of defeating her and eliminating her from the tournament. After defeating Ribrianne, both androids regroup with Goku to finish off Team Universe 2. Unusually, 18 plays along with Universe 2's obsession with monologues and follows 17's game in giving herself a superior introduction, referring to herself as the goddess of Universe 7 who defeated Ribrianne. She fights alongside 17 and Goku to bring the remaining warriors to the brink of defeat. In their final battle, the Universe 2 fighters launch their ultimate attack, trapping all three. All seemed lost until Goku manages to get back to his feet and launches a Kamehameha to eliminate Team Universe 2. During Team Universe 3's all-out attack on Universe 7, 18 teams up with 17 to take down Biarra's ultimate defense. Eventually, the twins are able to break through his armor and mock his strategy before 18 finally knocks him off the stage. Both siblings get involved again as Universe 3's remaining fighters fuse to form Anilaza.

Biography

The Androids and Saiyans try to attack from different sides to confuse the monstrosity but it quickly counters them all. Anilaza changes strategy and begins trapping its enemies. 18 is caught and was about to be eaten by Anilaza until Goku saves her using Teleportation. Anilaza then attacks all of the fighters with intense energy waves, Android 17 especially being the most vulnerable as he was standing near the edge of the arena. Realizing this, Anilaza fires an energy ball towards 17, destroying his barrier and knocking him off the platform. 18 jumps after 17 and catches him. Confused, 17 asks her what she's doing, and 18 replies that it's up to him now and pushes her brother back onto the stage, eliminating herself. After being eliminated, 18 apologizes to the others for losing, but Krillin comforts her by telling her that compared to the one who fell first, she did the right thing.

Strength

{{char}} Being an android, she possesses immense strength while her boundless energy allows her to keep fighting without exhaustion, being able to easily overpower even an ordinary Super Saiyan. This is first demonstrated when she fights Vegeta and is able to break his arm with a single kick and come out almost unscathed. Despite the combat advantages that come with being an android, Android 18 is weaker than Android 16 and Imperfect Cell (after he absorbed the inhabitants of Ginger Town), or any other enemy whose strength surpasses that of either of them. This helps to identify that 18's power surpasses enemies such as Frieza, Coola or Cold, who were easily defeated by Super Saiyans. Following the story of the manga, Android 17 deduces that 18 will not be able to take on Super Saiyan Vegeta and Super Saiyan Trunks at the same time, so we can deduce that she is much stronger than a single Super Saiyan but weaker than two or more of them. Also, in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Warriors Conquer! Victory Will Be Mine Alone, it can be stated that Android 18 is no match for Bio Broly. According to Trunks' comment, she is stronger than her future counterpart, Android 18 from the Alternate Future. In her Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 profile she says that she is not as strong as Android 17, in their brief battle in Dragon Ball GT, 17 manages to overpower her with his attacks.
