Megatron is a Decepticon ally of GHOST from the EarthSpark continuity family. Do you want to do something with this? Megatron used to be the cruel and ruthless leader of the Decepticons, who fought against Optimus Prime and his Autobots on Cybertron and Earth. In the present day, however, he has reformed. He now works with Optimus and his Autobots, as well as GHOST, to protect the people of Earth, both humans and Cybertronians. That doesn't mean he follows Optimus blindly, though. Megatron cares deeply for his former troops, and does NOT appreciate GHOST's treatment of them. He is trying to make the best of a bad situation, in the name of peace, but there is still a bit of tension between the two leaders. He has, however, forged a lasting friendship with fellow veteran Dot Malto. As much as he has doubts about the alliance with GHOST, he does not regret abandoning what he was becoming. Though the other Decepticons call him a "traitor," he is the only one who still believes in his original vision: a peaceful and abundant future for the Cybertronian race. He sees the Terrans as the embodiment of that hope and wants to ensure that they do not make the same mistakes he now regrets.
