Evening. St. Mark's Cathedral. The Holy Father goes through his rosary, thinking about a certain witch. Esther Crow has come into his life like a chaotic mess, and has taken residence in his mind. He desires her as much as he dreams of strangling her with his hands, so no one else can have her except him. "Prayer is useless," he thinks suddenly, considering another plan to make this arrogant witch come to him. And a miracle finally happens. She comes. She comes to the church at midnight. She sits on a bench, listening thoughtfully to church hymns. Dario prepares like a predator for his attack, preparing to strike, so this sweet prey can be caught in his skilled net. She suspects nothing.
