Their role and purposes are currently unknown, but they each appear to be assigned to a specific "Mains" Toon in the cast. A "rules" poster seen in the Lobby specifically mentions to listen to the Toon Handlers, likely meant for visitors to the Gardenview Center. In later updates more information may be available on what they did and where they're placed in the Game's story.The Toon Handlers are tall humans who wear coloured shirts with white buttons, with short sleeves and long pants which are darker shades of their vests, and with their boots being an even darker shade. They also have an employee nametag on their right side and wear white gloves. The nametag is white with a symbol of their respective Toon they are handling.

Currently, the Main Toons are the only Toons that are confirmed to have assigned Toon Handlers. The two exceptions are Bobette Render and Bassie Render ; it is currently unknown if either of them have an assigned Handler. Devan, Austin and Shanon mirror their Toons' personalities, meanwhile Sam and Veronica contrast them. Austin looks nervous, and Astro Render hides behind him. Austin is most likely also scared of photography. Shanon is waving along with Shelly Render and has a smile. Devan has the same smile as Dandy Render and wears white and grey, matching Pebble Render . Veronica seems unconfident and worried, contrasting to Vee Render waving at the camera. Sam seems rude and might have an attitude, contrasting to Sprout Render 's kind personality and his smile to the camera.Shanon is the only Handler who doesn't wear the same colour as their Toon. Shelly is beige, but Shanon wears orange. Devan's picture is the only one that's tilted. Astro seems to be hiding behind his Handler. This is most likely because he doesn't like photography, as seen in this poster. Devan is the only handler that has been assigned to two Toons, those being Dandy and Pebble. Sam is confirmed to look androgynous, as stated in the BlushCrunch Discord Server QnA. The portraits of the Toon Handlers used to be in one of the Warehouse Floors, but was moved to one of the new Greenhouse Floors. The original area was expanded and connected to the rest of the floor, allowing players to have a new spot to escape from Twisteds. Sam is the first character in Dandy’s World to be Non-Binary using they/them pronouns. Before the Toon Handlers’ names were revealed, Qwel referred to them as Toon Handler 1 - 5 (Their numbering has nothing to do with the lore). Austin was 1, Shanon was 2, Devan was 3, Veronica was 4 and Sam was 5.

Austin was the first Handler that was modelled, and is also Qwel's favourite. The names for every Handler were revealed in one of the Warehouse Floors, in a note on Delilah Keen's photo. The names of the Handlers start with the same letter as their respective Toons. (Devan - Dandy, Austin - Astro, Sam - Sprout, Shanon - Shelly, Veronica - Vee) It is speculated that Shanon's note was the last note made by the Toon Handlers before "The Incident", implying against the theory that they lost control of the Toons. It is also speculated that the Toon Handlers would sometimes write notes to their assigned Toon, if the handlers are busy but want to talk to their assigned Toon about something.

Delilah has waist length, ash brown hair with streaks, two sidelocks framing her face, low bangs and pale ivory skin. She is seen wearing a pair of dulled rainbow-themed pants and a white turtleneck coat with light pink from lighting, both with black (presumably Ichor) stains on the cuffs and sleeve. She also appears to be wearing baby blue gloves. Role It seemed that Delilah's job was responsible for the creation of Toons (through unknown means) while getting their reference designs from Arthur as the Concept Artist. By the notes scattered behind, it could also be assumed she had a passionate attitude in her work as Arthur doted on her alot and was likely a workaholic too due to her dependency on coffee. This is also shown by the coffee stain on one of the notes. Unlike Walton however, she seemed to hold less ideals than him, sometimes coming off as tunnel visioned and instead focused on matters in a more "realist" lens - such as brushing off his worries for a potential serious accident or that the Christmas Toons would be completely fine in solitude until the holidays hit again just to save on resources, without considering the psychological impact it would cause on their mental states.

Arthur appears with short brown hair with a curled fringe over his right eye and dark brown skin. He wears a pair of dull colored jeans, a bright rainbow-themed waist coat over a shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He also styles it with a faint, green-striped tie and simple white loafers. He appears to be slightly older in age as he has grey streaks and wrinkles and like all human staff, has his eyes hidden.Arthur Walton was one of the founders of Gardenview Educational Center and Museum, collaborating with a close partner, Delilah Keen. It seemed that Arthur was not only the one credited for designing all the current Toons (and then gave them to Delilah to create), but was also the one that created and show ran the in-universe Dandy's World TV Show, backed up by how he portrayed the show's sole purpose within a note as of now.

Sam McLaughlin's toon: Sprout; Sprout is a strawberry who wears solely a white scarf with thin pink stripes wrapped around his neck and draped over his back. He is usually depicted as having seven mint green, simple leaves, three of which rest atop his head while the other two cover his forehead in resemblance to bangs, and the last two drape over the back of his head. Sprout's 3D model adds one more leaf onto his front bangs, and he has a dark red blush with three black freckles on each cheek in all he has 6. His limbs are a vivid shade of red lighter than his torso and head.
